no surprises

I’ve ordered delivery from here a few times as the menu suits both my vego husband and I. It’s nothing fancy but it’s reliably tasty and cheaper than other vegan pizzas around. They don’t do mock meats and only offer one type of vegan cheese so I guess that keeps their costs down. The base is not particularly thick or thin, it’s somewhere in the middle, quite yeasty and a bit fluffy rather than soft and chewy - similar to Dominos’ original crust. My favourite topping is the vegan Veggie Delight with corn, spinach, potato, eggplant, and cherry tomatoes. It’s a unique, tasty mix and I’ve never been disappointed. They say the potato is oven roasted but once it tasted like it was deep fried! Imagine potato chips wedges on a pizza. That was a bit sickening. Otherwise the veggies always seem fresh. My husband likes them coz they offer half and half on the original and gourmet pizzas. Unfortunately they don’t do half and half vegan pizzas.
