Lots of options. Staff were friendly. Aware what vegan is - Edit
Food was tasty. They even got out a chart of vegetarian lacto/ovo all the way to fruitarian to find out exactly what vegan we were. Good prices if you are on a budget

Thai café with many vegan options on Kata beach - Edit
Serve local Thai cuisine with a separate vegetarian menu. Tasty food, big portions, reasonable prices. Some dishes, like Pad Thai and Fried rice, come with egg by default, so don't forget to ask to switch egg to tofu.
