Worth the trip

Let’s get the bad out of the way first: the location stinks, the seating isn’t super comfortable and it’s a little expensive.

But the 20 minute walk from Futamatagawa station was pretty nice and scenic, with parks and shops along the way. One dorayaki with a matcha latte came to about 1000 yen, but the quality was so high that it was worth it. Lovely staff too. If I lived closer I’d come here again and again.

Lovely place

Yes, it was worth coming here even though it's a bit off from Tokyo. Dorayaki and matcha were delicious. The owners were super friendly and eager to communicate even though they didn't speak English. Vegans, do take a detour for dorayaki!

Pros: Lovely owners, Tasty dorayaki, Great quality matcha

Cons: Location is kinda in the middle of nowhere

Vegan gluten free dorayaki... What?!?!? Yes!

That's it. It's vegan and it's gluten free (says on menu and I also asked to confirm). It's delicious and it's worth it.

Pros: Gluten free dorayaki that is vegan. That's it. , Also next door to amazing vegan restaurant. Go!

Vegan Dorayaki!!!

A couple of years ago I read about this shop in a vegan/vegetarian guide of Tokyo in a small independent bookstore. After looking them up, I found that while they used soy milk and soy cream, and no eggs, they did make their dorayaki with honey. I found their Instagram and left them a very positive comment about how utterly excited I was that they used no dairy and eggs, but disappointed at the same time as I still didn't get to eat a dorayaki because of the honey. I suggested they make some with agave or maple syrup. Over a year later, I found out that they had gone all vegan!!!! I made my way there immediately, and tried their incredibly delicious strawberry matcha dorayaki. So happy to finally have a vegan version of this famous Japanese dessert available in Tokyo!

new nama-dora and drinks for summer

Their nama-dora (raw dorayaki) is very different from a traditional dorayaki that Doraemon loves, but I enjoyed its mochi-like chewy texture
Seasonal "Min-cho" (500 yen) with minty soy milk cream, chocolate chips and lemon jam tasted interesting and would be nice in summer, but I prefer the original one (400 yen)
Hot tea and cold beverages are also available and they have 4 seats inside, 2 seats outside

Tasty gluten free dorayaki

A nice cute shop with vegan and gluten-free dorayaki.
The price isn't that high - 400 yen, especially if compared with another gluten-free vegan place. But it would be nice to make it a bit cheaper, to be able to compete with the regular dorayaki price (~200-300 yen).
Or maybe to have some discounts in case if buy2-3 items.

Pros: Vegan and Gluten free, Very nice staff, Free tea and samples of dorayaki

Cons: A bit far from the station (10 min walk), Point card is paper one (not Line or another app)
