3 or 4 hotdogs are served in vegan versions. They are very rich, almost an entire meal shaped into a hotdog. As sides there are good fries or a bowl of salad that was surprisingly big. The seating area is in a busy street but it’s compensated by a very entertaining waiter with a great sense of humor. There is a small choice of good beers and lemonades. Surprisingly nice interior. Highly recommend but 4/5 because they serve meat.

Amazing vegan hot dog! Pretty sure the whole menu can be made vegetarian and a lot of it can be made vegan too. Honestly one of the best vegan hot dogs I’ve ever had, only one other has compared. The restaurant is very cool with a good vibe. The staff are also very nice and straightforward. Overall I would say totally worth coming!

I tried their vegan hotdog with teriyaki (Zalige zonde) and it was quite nice. Their fries and vegan mayo were allright. However, their salad contained way too much (oily) dressing, so I was dissapointed by that. Other than that, it was a decent salad, with avocado, sundried tomato, carrot and pumpkin seed in it.

If you’re looking for a basic vegan hotdog, this is the place. It was good but nothing special really. Not as many vegan options as I expected. I did like how they put a microgreen leaf in the vegan mayo to distinguish if from the standard mayo. Will not be going back anytime soon though.

Leuk restaurant met een heleboel vegetarische en drie veganistische opties voor de hotdog! De broodjes zijn rijk belegd met een breed scala aan ingrediënten (wat het eten ervan wel wat moeilijk maakt). De eigenaren (?) vond ik erg vriendelijk en welkomend. Het eten had wel een tikkeltje minder zout gemogen.

Dogma is a nice hotdog bar where you can choose from 10 (vegetarian) hotdogs and 3 plant-based hotdogs. The hotdogs come with many toppings which made it a bit difficult to take a bite and overshadow the vegan hotdog’s taste. The fries are cut daily and the vegan mayonnaise is tasty. I would consider the hotdogs to be luxurious and therefore come with fair prices. Dogma is located near the central station and close to the Neude, which makes is easily accessible. The staff is friendly and it is usually not too crowded. There are also places on the terrace but it is next to a busy road (Voorstraat).

Smaakvolle gerechten en leuke combinaties in een hip jasje gegoten. De naam "dogma" gecombineerd met een kaart vol verwijzingen naar zonde is erg goed gevonden. Wel blijft de hotdog zich als product niet erg lenen voor het middelpunt van een menu, waardoor het soms ietwat aanvoelt als een uit de hand gelopen grap.

We had the Donderse Dogma and the Dwaze Dienaar and they were both absolutely delicious. Also the fries with vegan mayonnaise were amazing. I also really enjoyed the mix of contemporary and Sixties music. Overall a feel-good experience.

Dit restaurant verdient 5 sterren(of 6), het boeit me niet dat ze ook vlees serveren. Het eten is heerlijk, echt alles is er top aan. Het was ook heel rustig op een zondag rond lunch tijd en de medewerker was erg aardig.

After a long bike ride, we really wanted some comfort food - and Dogma delivered. I had the "Donderse Dogma," a classic combination of (vegetarian/vegan) sausage, mustard, ketchup, pickles, sauerkraut and fried onions in a hotdog bun. As others said, it's an incredible mess, but that's part of the appeal :). The sausage was quite true to real hot dog taste, so it may not be for you if you are avoiding meat-like products - I liked it a lot.
Read moreBefore ordering, I double-checked whether the vegan/vegetarian sausages are made on the same BBQ as the meat ones. I was told that vegan/vegetarian sausages are deep fried, and the fryer is used for vegetarian products only. Perfect!

Very good vegetarian and vegan friendly hotdog place. Really easy in ordering, clear menu. The (delicious!) fries also come with vegan mayo if prefered. Love to come here with friends that are on a plantbased diet or with mixed groups. There is something for everyone.

Delicious Hot Dogs and super friendly staff - Edit
Came here with the family, omnivores and vegetarians included, and everyone found some very tasty options. The place is directly in the city in a quiet street, where it’s possible to sit outside. I was really tired and stuffed up my order, but the friendly waiter brought me another plate without any hesitation.
