Mac n Cheese: Mac and Cheese was overall yummy but some bites were saltier than others
Kale: Kale salad was tasty but a little acidic bc of the dressing
Oyster Mushrooms: I was SO excited for but highly disappointed by. They looked absolutely beautiful. But it was a very flavorless bite. I feel like I was eating more fried flour than mushroom. Hardly any salt or seasoning in the batter. Only the sauces were saving it
Sea Moss Drink: So creamy and delicious. Not too sweet either
Sorrel: Really good, you’ll love it if u like ginger and the way it makes your throat feel. A little too sweet for me though
Overall I love Dodahs kitchen and think I came on a bad day. But I also will admit that I wish those oyster mushrooms would have been more flavorful. I regret not getting their lasagna instead

This place probably deserves 3 stars but I gave it 4 for effort. I got the entree (ribs) with two sides: Mac n cheese and collard greens. I ordered on Uber eats and the food was still warm. The portion sizes are very big too. The ribs however weren’t my favorite because the outside is too hard and got stuck to my teeth while the inside is much softer. The collards were also not great. It was mostly stems and was sour tasting. The Mac and cheese in my opinion was just okay, the noodles were a bit overcooked. It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve eaten. This place has a lot of potential but they definitely have room for improvement.

The regular lasagna is incredible, go try!! Really good portion sizes too - I got a main and two sides for $16, and there's enough food to last me 2 meals

Love the fact that this all-vegan soul food restaurant has all-day brunch options and multiple choices of vegan mac and cheese dishes (wow!), but even more so that there are multiple types of dessert options, cakes, cupcakes, available. Giving four stars only because I think Nuvegan's flavors are slightly better, especially the cold foods and salads.

Read moreI ordered the general Tso’s cauliflower, plantains, macaroni, and drummies. The cauliflower was absolutely exceptional. I would certainly order if I were you. Didnt care for the plantains but they were cold. Macaroni was good but wouldn’t place above Nuvegan. Neither would I place their fried chicken over Nuvegan.
I would like to try this place in restaurant to see if better. All in all, I would definitely give this place sfo but not through a delivery service

Discovered this restaurant today and it was fantastic. I especially loved the General Tao Cauliflower and Greens. The vegan chicken drummies (fried chicken) were fantastic with the bbq sauce. Chicken and waffles is what I want next time! And for dessert we got the strawberry, blueberry cheesecake and coconut cake which is only exclusive for their restaurant. I’m definitely going back and highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and let us sample whatever we asked for as well.
