Go to spot!

Cheap, quick, and vegan! I normally order the large plate with Rice, and the staff is happy to explain which dishes are vegan. For $8 its a great quick healthy meal when i'm in the area, equally as good as the punjabi deli by houston st!

Good food and cheap; not eco friendly

really nice old couple who makes the food. they will Kindly answer your dietary concerns. I would support so hard except they only serve in styrofoam with plastic ware.

Pros: good food, nice people

Cons: not eco friendly

Indian vegetarian and affordable. Great bread!

This place is famous for tasty, Indian and low cost vegetarian fresh bread. You can ask for vegan option as the only possible milk ingredient in bread is butter. So ask them not to use butter if you are vegan.

Food is affordable, I would suggest takeaway is best option. They make fresh curries/vegetables in evening. So after 4pm you should be able to get fresh curry!

Overall very good place for takeaway, low price and fresh bread with optional fresh curry if you go after 4pm! Being low cost, they use styrofoam plates and also offer a tiny seating area

Just alright

The food was alright. I had the mixed platter and all the different hot dishes kind of tasted the same to me except for the texture given by the ingredients. It comes with a salad that is pretty nasty to eat with a plastic fork from a styrofoam plate. As a new customer who is not too experienced with Indian food, I felt a bit lost. Luckily the guy working there happily explained me what was in the different buffet trays.
The best thing about this place is their bread - I would go back for the bread. The food itself was not worth it for me. The overall presentation of the place is not that nice; it may be better for take-out.

Pros: excellent bread

Cons: not a nice restaurant, food all tastes the same, styrofoam plates

Good food for steam table food

The platter items are from a steam table, but it still seemed fairly fresh, guess they turn it over quickly. They didn't have everything on the menu, just about ten items that were prepared. I had opted for the platter, so I'm not sure if you order a full entree off the menu if they would prepare it fresh for you.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Good vegan options

Could do with a better interior, but food is really yummy and tasty. Roughly 70% of the options were vegan.

Pros: Great tasting food, Cheap

Cons: Bad interior, lacks ambiance, Styrofoam plates
