no go

Red sauce all has broth and/or cooked with sausage, which means all pasta and pizzas, including eggplant have meat base. Cook could not figure out how to make a veggie option. Waited over an hour for food to get something with red sauce and shrimp, which I sent back because I can't eat them.

Pros: cute place

Cons: no food I can eat

Not great, but a local favorite

As vegetarians who prefer lighter, fresher food, this was not the place for us. The atmosphere is dark and homey, and you can tell it’s mostly regulars who frequent the place. Pizza was kind of weird and heavy, but not in a good way. No one in our group liked it.

Breakfast buffet was expensive, heavy, and meat-laden. Not many real veggie options, that aren’t the frozen appetizer type.

I would suggest Shamrock Brewing if you want a similar tavern atmosphere, with really good food instead.
