I've wanted a zapiekanka for weeks while in Poland and this delivered. Tasty and well thought out toppings, great size, fast and good price.

This place is a really cute hole-in-the-wall takeaway with a couple of seats outside. Orded the kanapka thinking it would be a small sandwich. It was a foot long baguette filled with sun-dried tomatoes, sprouting seeds, grilled aubergine, vegan cheese and vegan mayo. So good!

It was tasty, yet it needs some improvement - more spices as it was quite bland; and higher quantity of toppings. I ate the big one and this filled me up for dinner.

Tasty sandwich - Edit
Took delikatesowa with tofu and it was so good! Highly recommend! We were trying to translate the menu, the cashier helped us and they had the menu in english. Mayo on top was my favorite. Vegetarian friend said it was the best sandwich of their life!

I've tried the vegan toastie (with mushrooms, tofu, tomato and sprouts) from Długa Buła a few days ago and they tasted really good - not a mind blower but a very tasty and relatively cheap piece of food, served from a window so you can devour it while roaming around old town. Rude lady that was serving / preparing the toasties made it a 3 instead of 4 stars for me but otherwise I recommend trying it, especially if you miss the non-vegan toasties we've all been eating on holiday as kids ☺️

Read moreZapiekanki in Długa Buła are the best in the city! They have few vegan choices in the menu but they can also make any item vegan if you ask them. Located in the heart of the historical part of the city, this place is a must during the travels.
