Great coffee, nice atmosphere

I have visited this coffee shop several times for their vegan home made apple sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I have also had their seasonal gingerbread (no whip to be vegan) latte. Everything is really fantastic and baristas are really friendly. They also have some fun events that I wish I was around for. I highly recommend a visit!!

Pros: Vegan sausage is yummy, Great flavored lattes, Friendly baristas

Cute coffee shop

I loved the atmosphere here- fun with cool galaxies painted on the floor. They have board games & sci-fi themed drinks!
When I was there, they had only 3 vegan pastry options (I got the hand pie with spinach & artichoke- it was decent but only luke warm).
I also wanted the Last Unicorn drink (lavender & almond) but I asked to switch to matcha instead of coffee.
It was $1 surcharge for nondairy milk (they have oat, hemp) and $1 for flavored syrup so my drink was $8.50 and my order total was $19.29.
The drink didn’t do much for me either- I couldn’t taste the lavender or almond.
I really wanted to like this place but I was disappointed overall.
(I did notice a sign that said they don’t accept tips because they pay their employees a living wage. Bravo for that!)

Pros: Fun atmosphere , Employees are paid a living wage

Cons: Nondairy milk surcharge $1

Great Vegan Breakfast Sandwich

They had a few different vegan options on the menu. The vegan egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was delicious. Coffee was okay.

Great place to hang out.

We host our vegan work parties here and they’re always super nice and accommodating. Nerdy themed decor, sweet employees, and very relaxing atmosphere. Has vegan doughnuts and Ploughmans, but not much else.

Pros: Relaxing atmosphere , Free WiFi , Nice staff

Cons: Not enough vegan options, Out of the way , Long wait for food

A cute sci-fi–themed cafe

It’s got a couple of good vegan options but not too many. The coffee and tea is great, and they have a few vegan pastry options too. They’ve also got free wi-fi so you can come here to get some work done. Or play board games!

Pros: Cute place, Mighty-O donuts!

Tasty n friendly

It was a busy lunch and we had to wait 25 mins for humus, tomato & lettuce sandwich soup but it was tasty. The hemp latte was really yummy too. The barista dealt with the rush really well and stayed calm and pleasant. I liked the sci-fi theme. I also grabbed some mighty-o vegan doughnuts which I can’t wait to snack on later on my road trip back to Canada.

Good coffee, friendly staff, vegan sandwich options

Loved the latte here. I had it with hemp milk. They also carry mighty O vegan donuts but had run out when I was there. I also ended up talking to a meet up group that meets at the cafe and watched old sci-fi geeky movies! What a win! So I went in for a coffe and sugary something and ended up watching a movie with my coffee! Happiness!

Not many GF options

Coffee was good, but I would love to see GF and vegan options on the pastries.

Yay! Coffee + Vegan Options + Nerdery!

I like the atmosphere and friendly folks at WCH lots!!! Fair warning: there is a sci-fi theme to the decor and menu (heavy on the firefly and star trek) which I find wonderful and endearing, but which may annoy others.

Don't get it confused with Wayward Cafe (which is all-vegan and amazing!) - though they are "veg-friendly" they don't actually have a ton of vegan options. They do have several non-dairy milk options, and a nod to vegans on their menu. Plus mighty-os!

Pros: Very Friendly Service, Lots Of Non-dairy For Coffee, Quirky Style

Cons: Not Lots Of Vegan Variety, Named Wayward, Which Is Confusing

Vegan Soup!

This place offers very simple food, but it is a (mostly) organic, vegan-friendly, vegetarian coffeehouse/cafe. They only offer three soups: lentil, split pea, and one that I can't remember. They are simple, hearty, vegan soups. They also offer Mighty-O donuts. Their vegan sandwiches (there's a hummus one and an avocado one) are not very good at all. They seem to do a big bagel sandwich business but are currently not offering vegan cream cheese. This place also allows well-behaved dogs into the restaurant, which is one of the big reasons why we love it. The owner/operator can seem unfriendly, but all the others are very outgoing and helpful.

Pros: Mighty O donuts!, Good soups

Cons: Low variety, menu items never change, No vegan cream cheese, at this time
