MANY vegan options, but rob a bank first if you plan to drink. - Edit
I’ve been to the Woodbury location many times and to Patchogue once. I can’t stand most of the “bros” that hang out in Patchogue, but this location was spacious, if REALLY loud. The service was wonderful even with a table of 9 people. I’ve had the imposso-taco many times and it’s always so crispy and good. The Brussels sprouts without the cheese are so, so delicious. This time I got the naked taco and topped it with the cauliflower and sprouts. It was really good. Didn’t even need the dressing. If people are drinking and having 3 or 4 tacos each (and you’ll need to), expect to dip into your retirement $. I currently can’t drink, but everyone else did. The bill was $600 and worked out to well over $80 a person with tip. That’s rough, but more a reflection of the company I keep than the restaurant.

Nice fresh food - Edit
The food was good quality and fresh. The salads and taco's had nice greens in them. We didn't get the vegan quesadilla but we probably will next time.

Vegan tacos put in same container as steak and chicken - Edit
Ordered four vegan tacos, a vegan quesadilla, chips and guac, and two meat tacos. The meat tacos were packaged with the steak and chicken tacos and their juices and sauce had leaked out and were on the vegan tacos. There was also cheese in the vegan tacos from the chicken taco. The guac is listed as $7.28 on the menu but we were charged $12.50. I called to let them know they needed to package the vegan and the meat separately and she refunded me for the four vegan tacos. Two chips and guac, 6 tacos, and a quesadilla was $84.16. It’s always so exciting when somewhere new has vegan options but we didn’t get to actually try the tacos.
Read moreEDIT: I wanted to edit this review because my first experience while bad, hasn't been repeated as I've requested different packaging. I've ordered and asked to make sure the vegan stuff is separate from the regular and everything really is delicious. It's pricey but it is very good. I updated to 4 stars because if you don't make the request your stuff will still be packaged the same.

Tacos - Edit
Great service at @dirtytacoandtequila I would make a few suggestions for the vegan options. The imposso taco is just a brick of impossible meat, it would’ve been better chopped up like real taco meat & it needs seasoning, it tasted very bland. The cheese wasn’t melted, vegan cheese needs steam to melt or even a small food torch helps. The imposso taco also could’ve used a sauce. I’m allergic to avocado so I didn’t order mine with guacamole. Maybe if you offered a vegan sour cream or a special taco sauce it would’ve been so much better! The salsa and chips were super good though! I also posted this review on my page @plantbasedsanity

Great food! - Edit
My sister and I shared the 3 vegan/GF tacos on the menu as well as the impossible quesadilla. On the left is the Vegan chorizo, in the middle is the imposso-taco, and on the right is the tofu quinoa. They were delicious, so flavorful and very filling. The quesadilla was excellent as well and the sauce it was served with was good and not too spicy! We also had the chips and guac and sweet plantains which were so good (the cream that is served with the plantains is NOT vegan!) We would definitely recommend this place:) Service was also great and food came out super quickly for a Saturday night.

Best vegan quesadilla - Edit
They have 3 vegan taco options, plus some vegetarian. But the shining star is their impossible quesadilla. It’s my absolute favorite thing on the menu. Plus their mojitos are delicious!

Delicious Food - Edit
UPDATE: green sauce is NOT VEGAN ANYMORE. It contains dairy!
Read moreReturned on 7/23 around 1pm for lunch. Much less crowded and food came out very quickly. Ordered 2 different tacos last time but loved the chorizo and refried beans taco more than the impossible so I ordered the imposso-taco with beans instead of beef this time so I could get the imposso toppings (cheese and guac) without having to pay $6 for the guac which is what I was charged last time. Tacos were delicious as expected and waitress was very nice.
Went to Dirty Taco for dinner around 5:15 on a Saturday and waited about 20 minutes for a table. Environment inside was great and a really nice vibe. I ordered the Imposso-taco (impossible meat) and the vegan Chorizo taco (refried beans and chorizo). Both were so good but the chorizo was definitely my favorite. My one complaint is that I asked for guac on one of the tacos and the brought over a side of guac which was $6 and we didn’t find out until the check came. I don’t know if they don’t offer guac to be added as a topping, but the waitress should have let us know that we’d have to order an entire side. If I had known that was the option, I would have skipped it as I used a small scoop and the rest went to waste since we didn’t have chips or anything. The tacos were really good and came with a delicious vegan crema and spicy salsa on the side. Tacos were huge and filling and we really enjoyed everything. We will definitely be back again soon!
