bonkers good - Edit
Just excellent. I loooove seitan and was not disappointed in their use of it. Great breading and sauces. Get the greens, they are incredible. Generous portions.

Flavorful and great portions for the price - Edit
Huge portions! We ordered the catfish plate with collard greens and spinach pie plus the fried chicken plate with Mississippi mud sauce with Cajun Mac and fried pickles. The pickles were very oily. The ranch sauce, tartar, and Mississippi mud slapped!! We would definitely recommend the fried chicken and Mac. The catfish was just the same seitan with good flavor and different breading, but the texture was not convincing as a “fish.” 2 people could easily share a plate combo. Very friendly staff.

Ok wow - Edit
I had the fried catfish, Cajun mac, infamous bowl and cornbread. I highly suggest trying all of it and remember to get sauce for the catfish! And the employees are gorgeous, friendly people.😄

Spicy - Edit
The food is good, just all so spicy that after a bit it all just blends together and it’s hard to distinguish flavors. Overall still good. I like the shrimp dirty rice the best.

Great BBQ! - Edit
My kid wants to go there often. She’s Omni and can’t get enough. Says it’s the best bbq place ever. We’ve had the ribs and chicken.

Amazing comfort food! - Edit
Dirty Lettuce makes amazing comfort food. Everything I’ve tried is well spiced and has robust flavors. The comb plates are a great way to try a variety of menu items.

Best southern comfort food - Edit
This is our go-to dinner spot in Portland. I’ve been looking for a spot like this. We always get extra food so we can heat it up for leftovers. Their fried “chicken” is my favorite, and my fiancé loves the honey bbq chicken. I also highly recommend their catfish and seasonal country fried steak. You can’t go wrong with the sides—they are all outstanding—but their occasional New Orleans seafood mac has a special place in my heart (and belly). Also, the southern fried cauliflower bites are really similar to fried shrimp if you used to love seafood!!

Incredible - Edit
Believe the hype. Waiting in the eight person deep line is well worth it. Tried Dirty Lettuce for the first time today and it did not disappoint. I had the sampler platter of chicken and ribs, with a corn muffin, black-eyed peas, and the jambalaya. While the Cajun flavor of everything was absolutely amazing the chicken really stole the show. Dirty Lettuce is now on my list of regulars.

Tried for first time and it was AMAZING! Your non-veg friends will love it too!! - Edit
Super friendly service! AMAZING food! Dog friendly! Get takeout and serve to your carnivorous friends, they will leave the dark side! Looking for really good vegan baked beans for years, looking no more! Served to a non-veg and they loved it! Will be a go to for their lunch breaks at work!!! Located in a small but all vegan food cart pod!
