Amazing banh mis - Edit
This place is small and tucked away but has amazing banh mis! The two vegan options are clearly marked and they also make Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee with soy creamer.

a traditional vegan version of the Bahn Mi - Edit
Dinosaurs vegan Bahn Mi was listed as one of the top seven vegan sandwiches in the Nation by VegNews magazine so was excited to give it a try.
Read moreDinosaurs offered two different vegan Bahn Mi-Crispy Tofu or Roasted Portobello. I went with the Crispy Tofu- Fried shreds of tofu, taro, rice noodles, & jicama with Vegenaise, pickled carrots & daikon, cucumber, & jalapeños on a French baguette.
It was $7 yet received a 10 percent discount with an online Yelp check in so was just $6.85.
They have Sriracha there & even sell Sriracha key chains for one to take Sriracha on the go.
The Crispy Tofu Bahn Mi was tasty & flavorful. Kudos to Dinosaurs for going the extra mile adding Vegenaise to their sandwiches making a traditional vegan version of the Bahn Mi.
They had spring rolls with one or two being vegan & potato chips yet would be great if Dinosaurs would offer some vegan Pho or traditional noodle soup or Rice Noodle Salad.
They already have the vegan Bahn Mi dialed yet these additional sides would make Dinosaurs go from great to excellent!
Pros: a traditional vegan version of the Bahn Mi

Simple & Tasty Vegan Options - Edit
This is our go-to to-go place in the neighborhood. Crispy tofu sandwiches, avocado shakes, spring rolls with vegan sauce — all delicious and satisfying. Friendly and helpful staff, too! And conveniently located across the street from the public library!

I had the portobello sandwich and oh my goodness! It tasted better than the meat based bahn mi!! Every ingredient hit the spot. I wish i had more time to try every vegan item.

Tasty fresh Vietnamese sandwich shop - Edit
Dinosaurs is a modern Vietnamese sandwich shop with a small space, small menu, and good food. Although they also serve meat and dairy, they have put effort into making about a third of their (clearly labeled) menu vegan. They also sell a couple of the key ingredients they use, like vegan fish sauce and vegan sweetened condensed milk. They offer a really nice array of beverages, like avocado smoothie and watermelon shake. It's a bit more expensive than the hole-in-the-wall bahn mi sandwich places, but it's worth it for high quality fresh food.
Read moreThere's room for maybe ~20 people to sit if the weather is nice, some tables outside. It's a casual place, so you order at the counter, grab a table if you can and wait for your number to be called to pick up food. A lot of people take to-go as well.
Recommended!
Pros: Fresh and tasty,
Cons: They should go all-vegan!
