My favorite bahn mi ever - Edit
I am obsessed with this place and their crispy tofu sandwich. Anytime I am visiting the Bay Area, I HAVE to stop here. It is a requirement. I would come here all the time during university just to get this sandwich every week, it is just that good. It’s a small hole in the wall type of place, but it’s so good. There are multiple vegan options and they are clearly marked with a cute little dinosaur symbol.

Crispy Tofu Banh Mi Best of the Bay - Edit
The 5-star crispy tofu banh mi at Dinosaurs in Pacifica is my all-time favorite sandwich in the Bay Area. I've been going here for years, and it's great every time. It's perfect to take out for a picnic on the beach.

My favorite vegan sandwich - Edit
The crispy tofu banh mi is my favorite vegan sandwich. Lots of flavor. Also really good are the tofu and taro fresh spring rolls. Bonus the Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee can be made vegan.

I like their tofu sandwich. They also have a portobello sandwich and a veggie roll (I've never tried them). The Vietnamese coffee can be made vegan upon request. I like the smoothies too. Good location, easy parking, and is near old downtown Pacifica, a cool area.

Let me tell you about my favorite sandwich. When I lived in Pacifica, I came here multiple times a week. Now, whenever I happen to be in the Bay Area, I ALWAYS go out of my way to grab a Crispy Tofu Banh Mi from Dinosaurs. No other bahn mi option comes close. They also have a vegan mushroom banh mi and some vegan spring rolls.

This place has been on radar for awhile. All food Togo. The crispy tofu bahn mi sandwich was one of the better ones I’ve had. Good crunchy roll and fresh veggies.

...not a "basic sandwich shop." Hmph. My favorite is the vegan spring rolls, which have crispy taro, green apple and cucumber along with the usual rice noodles and lettuce. They make them to order, so if you can't do cilantro, like me, just ask. The hoisin sauce and peanut sauce are both savory and delicious.

We got there around 11:40am on a Sunday and didnt wait long in the order line but waited at least half an hour for our sandwich and spring rolls. Food was OK, but nothing earth shattering. Sandwich bread could have been fresher for example. It was kind of tough. We liked the concept and the name!

Vegan options in Pacifica are few and far between, so I really appreciate Dinosaurs for having two options on their menu! Both the tofu and the Portabella mushroom Vietnamese bánh mì sandwiches are tasty and super satisfying. Nicely wrapped for taking on a hike to go. Although it’s in a strip mall setting, the little tables indoors/outdoors are also a convenient option.
