On Fridays from 9.30am-3pm, you will find a booth by The Phoenix vegetarian restaurant selling a variety of meals and other foods (pesto, sundried tomatoes). The market also has a crepe stand with vegan options. Open Fri 09:00-15:00.
If you're traveling through Ireland like we were and are lucky enough to be in Dingle during the market, head there and find the Phoenix booth. We got a daal, chickpea curry, roasted pilaf and she threw in a sundried tomato and lime. All vegan. It came up to about 15 euro.
Dishes come in biodegradable plastic containers, and there's also wooden cutlery.
If you consume animal products (tsk tsk), she also had a pesto with parm and a goat's cheese dish.
We eat them all together at our hotel. They were definitely fresh, especially the sundried tomatoes (from their garden), but a bit dry and bland. I would suggest being prepared to season to your taste.
