Very good

We actually wanted Fufu but unfortunately there wasn't any left. So if you're going for Fufu as well try to be there as soon as possible. But, we had the Red red vegan and it was also very nice!

Edit: We went there some days later and got Fufu and Banku in vegan. The Fufu was very tasty, the Banku has a very sour and special (almost weird) taste, probably not for everyone. Also, prepare to wait a bit longer for your food, both times it took quite a while (not meant offensively).

Fufu = yum!

Having read reviews about service being slow, and as always being on a bit of a hectic schedule, I was somewhat concerned that this visit would sort of ruin my plains for the day. It most certainly didn't. Space was scarce, but I was quickly assigned a table. Since I knew all along I wanted to try the fufu, I said so to staff right away. I just needed to choose a sauce, and the peanut one proved to be a great choice. I loved the dish, and apologised for not feeling confident enough to eat it my hands. Maybe next time, because given a chance I would definitely like to come back to Didi Pa.

Delicious fufu!

I had the fufu with peanut tomato soup. Soup was really delicious and fufu tender. Could recommend for a first taste of West African food!
Place is small and has a lot of interested customers, so waiting for short while for a table is to be expected.

Jollof rice!!

Great food, slow service

Restaurant seems to be popular, since it was quite busy even on an afternoon.
Food was great, very tasty.
Service was also nice, but we had to wait a long time (>1.5 h) to get our food.
This is also why I only give 3 stars...if the service would have been faster I would definitely give this place 4/4 stars.

Excellent West African food

Had the vegan taster plate (excellent except one of the rice varieties was white rice) and ghana fanta (good, not sure how it is different from other orange sodas).

Pros: Solide vegane Auswahl , Freundliches Personal, Große, gehaltvolle Portionen

Cons: Sehr enges Restaurant, Nur Barzahlung

Vegan Ghanaian food

Finally found a place with Ghanaian food and they even have several vegan options!
There are some imported drinks as well as German refreshments. You can take the drinks out of the fridges and pay for them later, along with the food.

So far I mostly liked the dishes that I tried. Plaintains could have been a bit better, but maybe I was just out of luck today. Can't wait to try the rest!

Prices are rather low for a restaurant (normal for this neighborhood, though).

The restaurant is located right on the busy road "Sonnenallee", and it's easy to miss if you don't pay attention.
Inside it's kinda small, too, but the place has a relaxed and casual vibe. Staff is lovely! #Veganuary

Pros: taste ok-good, friendly

Cons: plaintains were soggy (today?), Red Red was very salty for me
