Not vegan friendly. - Edit
There's quite a language barrier between the staff and English. They seem to mix vegan and vegetarian together. Most of their mock meat is the vegetarian (egg/milk) stuff you can find at happy veggie world. They tend to answer just about every question with "yes", so don't take that as fact. Avoid if vegan, or ask to see the ingredients of the items they use.

Cons: Misinformed, Not vegan

Are you sure? I spoke with the daughter who speaks English fluently and she assured me everything was vegan with no dairy or egg.

Vegan subs tastes none vegan... - Edit
Ordered the "meat" grill veggie sub and the spicy hot noodle soup. Really enjoyed my soup, loved the amounts of coriander in there, loved the noodles and the beansprouts, the mock meats were tasty and the spice was good (you can add more spice if you wanted to) - the flavour also reminded the boyfriend of Thailand.
Read moreBoyfriend had the sub and he really enjoyed the bread, the filling was pretty good but a little dry - this is when my soup came in handy as we both had the same idea of dipping the sub in it! It was great! Definitely worth the money.
I think as a dinner, the food probably wouldn't fill you up (personally I eat a lot), but we only wanted a little snack so it pretty much did the job of that - it's a decent little place for breakfast and lunch, or brunch.
A little concerning thing was that the girl working there said that everything was vegan - we asked what was vegan as you had to read the components of the food in order to know - so clear signage would be good if a customer was in a hurry.
We also asked what was vegan because on Happy cow, they are under the vegetarian logo and right off the bat, I saw that there was milk in the curry and in a special item on the "menu", one said "egg white noodles"......I know people and different cultures have different perceptions of veganism so this is probably one of those times where it doesn't align with someone who doesn't consume honey, milk, seaweed, eggs etc.
I think that if you are comfortable with the possibility of consuming some vegetarian products then you would leave really happy.
Overall, we were happy with our experience and would most likely come back again as the food was pretty good.
Went back again and had the Banh Mi sub, the flavoring was extremely questionable....it tasted like warm mayonnaise....with a hint of fish...I regretted buying it.

Food was really good. Lots of mock meat options. I got #7 and I love the broth. Minimum service was provided but I’m fine with that.

Super Delicious Vietnamese Food - Edit
The food here is so yummy! The salad rolls are soooooooooo delicious. Super flavourful and fresh. I’ve had their Pho and Bun cha ca(vegan fish noodle soup) and they were both very good. Broth is very flavourful. The veggie banh mi was good, bun was on point - just thought it needed a lot more filling of sauce and veggies. Food is typically ready pretty fast and consistently very good. Will be back!

Very good, don't expect to change anything on the menu, you get what they give you! But it is all very good. Best tasting pho broth in the city, I think.
