Delicious comfort meal - Edit
I had a chicken sandwich, Mac and cheese, and tater tots. The Mac and cheese was definitely yummy and very creamy. The tater tots were to die for! The chicken sandwich was solid, reminded me of a Chik Fil A sandwich.

Stop the Presses and GO! - Edit
Devil's Lettuce is EXACTLY what we needed after the vegan desert of Busch Gardens. We tried SO MANY DISHES: Burgers, chicken, buffalo wrap, mac n cheese, nachos, cheese dip. Everything was INCREDIBLE. The staff was wonderful and so easy-going. RUN, don't walk, to this woman-owned vegan haven!

lots of food for the money. - Edit
we came here during a road trip, and it was definitely worth the mild detour. lots of food! we ordered the $6 bowl of (greasy deep-fried?) brussels sprouts and it lasted us at least 4 meals.
Read morewe got there on the last saturday at their original location before their move, and they were still operating well. i ended up doing the make your own bowl since that seemed like the easiest option for me. the counter person was very helpful in letting me know which items were wheat-free (she said the menus at the next location will have GF items more clearly marked)
p.s. their instagram reel on 6/29 said that was the last day here, and they said "We’ll be reopening at 9050 W Broad St in a couple weeks!"
this dang bowl lasted me 2 meals! we also got the cheese fries platter, we decided to finish the fries there since they are less likely to store well. we scraped excess beyond burger chunks and (melted violife) cheese into my leftover bowl contents.
the only thing i wasn't too fond of is that it was slightly too oily. but maybe that's the leftovers talking (because it had the fry platter scrapings and 1/4 of the brussels in there)
maybe the brussels would be better if they were deep fried for a shorter amount of time and then finished off in the oven where they can drip off a bit. (but restaurants have limitations. maybe this would be too many steps for a $3 cup / $6 bowl item. and wouldn't be able to be done on demand)

rude staff, dirty tables - Edit
I tried going here on 4/20 for the taco bell menu, walked in, asked about gluten free options, the person told us to read the menu. The menu shows a gluten free bun option and that’s it. Nothing about sauces, meats or anything else. So you would have to ask more questions especially if you were allergic and not just intolerant. The outdoor dining tables were very dirty also so we just left. Will not be coming back.

perfect date - Edit
sweet little place. been here once before. both times we dined in and both were amazing. we’re not people that change up our orders when we find something we like, BUT we both ordered new things the second time around. and it’s always a joy to have a fully vegan menu and not have to worry.

Love it! - Edit
So many wonderful options to choose from. Took my granny and built a burger… she was hooked! The patty was seasoned to perfection and the seasoned fries with the lemon-garlic aioli (chef’s kiss). We’ll be back to experience their May Brunch menu tomorrow.

Delightful - Edit
Large, all-vegan menu in a cute space. I had the “Killer Tofu Toastie” and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in years. My date had the “Veggin’ Out Flatbread” and we shared some chips and queso. Our food came out really quickly! I can’t wait to return.

Best vegan brunch ever - Edit
I stopped by today and got the best vegan breakfast food that I have ever had. They change their brunch menu monthly, so these items will only be around until the end of June, but my god they are incredible. I got the French toast stuffed with Oreos, cream cheese, and Chocolate along with their version of chick’n minis, an incredible black bean breakfast bowl. It only took about 7 min from ordering to receiving my food, which is unheard of in a non fast food setting! Seriously go spend all of your money here (which will go a long way because they are way too affordable) and experience the deliciousness.

Ate here last week for the first time and got the carnita burrita and fries and it was delicious. Went back this week and got the Po' girl wrap and tots and it was delicious. Definitely my new favorite place to eat. Plan on going down the menu and trying everything.

Delicious Tofu Sandwich in Unique Space - Edit
This is a great vegan restaurant with a little something for everyone thanks to their unique setup. You get two restaurants for the price of one. You can walk in and head to the vegan spot while meat eating friends can order from another sister restaurant in the same space.
Read moreI had the tofu sandwich - delicious - and the Mac & cheese. Luckily their Mac was not one trying to imitate the craft box deal but a decadent steakhouse mac&cheese dupe. Best Mac I’ve had in a long time!

Awesome Menu - Edit
The menu options were both interesting and different than other places I go to. The food itself was delicious, well presented and great portion sizes. I highly recommend the sloppy Mac wrap. The staff were super friendly and helpful with questions we had. The place itself is inviting and clean. Will definitely come back!

I’ve eaten here twice already and I’ve loved it! It’s so nice to have a fully vegan restaurant out here in the west end. The service is prompt albeit the place has been empty both times I went. The atmosphere is nice.

So many choices, so little time - Edit
At long last I was able to try the dank nuggs, and they did not disappoint! The beer batter outside was perfectly fried and the inside was deliciously chewy. The French fries that came with the meal were well seasoned, and the diablo dipping sauce was satisfyingly hot without being unbearable.

Great addition to RVA vegan food scene! - Edit
Unique build your own menu. Nice, clean space with 2, 4 tops and wall bar with about 6 seats. Self ordering kiosk available, if counter gets too busy. Food was great! Po girl fried hearts of palm was very delicious and unusual. The free toppings list is long, which is nice. Mac n cheese was awesome! We try the vegan Mac everywhere we go all over the country, and this is the most like real cheese. My BF always hates when the cheese sauce is kind of sweet because they use soy milk in the sauce. This Mac is not like that at all. The loaded fries had the same kind of cheese sauce that was more realistic in texture, then your typical Vegan queso. Excellent house made hot sauce. I will say the No Bull burger is mushy and falls apart, but to be fair, I knew going into it because I have had their products before, but had forgotten. I was excited about the rice paper bacon, but I didn’t really like it. A burned taste was really the only flavor I could detect and it was too crunchy for me to eat without worrying about it breaking my teeth. We had some baked goods that we got on the way out, including a maple, bacon scone, which was really good. We will definitely go back!
