Exquisite Pizza in a modern style - Edit
The vegan Pizzas are served with either vegan sour creme or a dip made of Hummus and Avocado. The later one is extremely creamy and tastes absolutely awesome.
Read moreMy choice fell on the Pizza 'Bella', which is served with a variety of fresh grilled vegetables.
The mix of the sauce and toppings fits really well to the dough, which also tastes quite well.
Clearly a big recommendation for eating Pizza in Bayreuth!

Die vegane Pizza "Bella" war sehr lecker. Es gab noch einige andere vegane Pizzen zur Auswahl. Zum Nachtisch gab es veganes Vanilleeis mit Schokosoße.

Am besten vorab reservieren. Es wird sich aber trotzdem Mühe gegeben jedem noch einen Tisch zu organisieren. 4 vegane Pizzen werden angeboten. Die waren gut. Wir hatten sicherlich auch schon bessere, aber wir waren mit dem Gesamtpaket glücklich:) Dessert gab es auf Anfrage und war leider nicht vegan.

Es gibt viele vegane Optionen. Unsere Pizza war zu lange im Ofen und dadurch sehr trocken. Kann ein schlechter Tag gewesen sein.

Interesting and tasty vegan pizza creations - Edit
Generally I’m not impressed by fancy pizza creations as I prefer more down to earth kind of pizza when going to a pizza place. Pizza fungi with vegan cheese or a pizza salami with a meat substitute. But I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of these creative options at Holzofen. I had the Pizza Bella and loved it. For dessert I had the cocoa mousse which I enjoyed just as much. The atmosphere is cosy and friendly and the staff was exceptionally attentive and kind. A good place when dining with omnivores.

Four special vegan pizzas with hummus (very tasty), but every other pizza can be ordered with vegan cheese. They also had a vegan dessert!
