Lovely but limited choice - Edit
Lovely little place but very limited selection of cakes. Far less than I had hoped

Cash only, few vegan options - Edit
For the amount of sweets they have in store, it was disappointing to learn that only too few of them were suitable for vegans (many were marzipan-based). However we had a nice time here. The tea and cookies were good.

Authentic but scarce vegan options - Edit
Cash only! (we had to run to an atm in order to pay).
Read moreCharming and authentic little tea place with Arab sweets. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable about veganism. Problem is that barely 10% of the confections were vegan and those were mostly marzipan based. Baklava, jalevi, etc were not vegan which is a real shame.
Anyway recommended for an afternoon break.

Lovely Tunisian Delicacy Shop - Edit
This little shop is stuffed with delicacies. The friendly owner immediately pointed out all the vegan options after asking and I left with a box with five (there were a few more options). Taste was delicious, quite filling and definitely something to satisfy the (serious) sweet tooth.

Cons: On the expensive side (but affordable)

Little vegan options - Edit
Plus points first, when I inquired about vegan items, they immediately pointed them out to me. (Minus: they are not labeled). Vegan options existed, quite a few, but just very basic things like cookie-like pâtisserie. I had two of them which were very dense and crumbly and tasted similar to me. I personally wouldn't go there again, but depends on what you like.

Divine Little Patisserie - Edit
Sweet little French-Tunisian patisserie serving a wide variety of middle-eastern delicacies, the majority of which are vegan. If you ask them at the counter the can also supply a list of what allergens / ingredient groups are in each product (eg: dairy, nuts, etc - although very few have dairy). Serve delicious mint tea, and mint tea with pine nuts (a Tunisian delicacy). Highly recommend it if looking to satisfy a sweet pastry craving but determined to avoid the butter and dairy so prevalent in traditional French pastries.

Cons: Not cheap (although still affordable)
