Cons: Caro

expensive for a regular menu

It’s the most expensive menu in bogota but u can find a regular menu ... nothing special
A soup , a little vegetable and rice . And a small glass of juice .
Too expensive for what they give you .

Delicioso y maravillosamente atendido

Cons: Pocas mesas

simple, tranquilo, y comida buena

Best Vegan Empanada in Bogota

I had a delicious vegan empanada at this cute little restaurant in the heart of Bogota. The crust was crispy, but not greasy, and the inside was a tasty blend of peas, veggies and spices.

I also had a wonderful soup and a tofu burger, and ended my meal with a perfect banana muffin. Not too sweet. Just perfect.

The owner has been vegan and macrobiotic for years, and she puts love and care into her food.

A great lunch spot.

Like at your (vegan) grandma's place

They sell lunch menus for 14,000 COP (aprox $4.30 USD), and some small things like vegan empanadas, etc...

The food is good (but not great). However, the context is what makes this place somewhat special. The place is run by two older women who look 20 years younger than what they say they are (talking about an effective marketing scheme).

All in all,if you are in the area, i think its a good choice for a vegan lunch.

Pros: owners, empanadas

Cons: a bit plain
