Great little pure veg Indian place! - Edit
A lovely little local restaurant serving lots of delicious 'pure vegetarian' Indian dishes. I loved the stuffed karela and the black chickpea dish. They have many housemade sweets and snacks that you can purchase to go. We also ordered some takeaways and we received them very quickly.

Awful customer service and hygiene - Edit
We visited on a weekend. We stood at the door for a long time, no one greeted us. Eventually we were given a seat, cramped up in a corner, but once again we had to keep waiting for the server.
Read moreThe man serving us was so cold and unfriendly. Also the tables were dirty and the whole place looked unhygienic. We decided to leave.
There are way better Indian places around the area that serve delicious authentic Indian food.

Naturally vegan food! - Edit
I love having food that’s naturally vegan in its authentic form and Indian cuisine is one of the best for that. Great food and super affordable ☺️

The BEST Service - Edit
Delicious food and wonderful service. Excellent value for money, very authentic food and tasty. The green chutney with the dosa is exquisite. A must. They sell excellent Indian sweets and snacks to take away. The gentleman serving us couldn’t have been more charming and accommodating. Five star service. #Veganuary

Delhi Wala’s interior might not convince but the food does. It is really yummy and I would highly recommend it.

Great food, slow service - Edit
I really enjoyed my visit here, because the food was delicious, and for roughly £20 it was more than three people could eat. But thankfully we weren't in a rush.
Read moreWe came at around 1pm, and the restaurant was about 50% full. There was only one girl working in the dining room, and she was very friendly. But also manning the take-away counter, it was roughly 15 minutes until she was free to take our order.
The food came out sporadically; it wasn't all delivered to the table at once, rather spread-out over about 30 minutes. That's no problem for me, but some other customers were seemingly unhappy about not having everything at once.
That was the only complaint though. The food, when it came, was great. Very tasty. It was very good value, and the menu was largely vegan, with just a few dishes that included dairy.
I'll come back for sure, but I'd advise avoiding coming here if you're in a rush, or if you want a meal with more formal restaurant etiquette. If you can do without that, this is a great restaurant.
Pros: Excellent food, Good value
Cons: Very slow service
