We liked it. - Edit
We had the Tikka masala and the cashew burger and liked both. Our 10 year old kid too. French fries baked in vegetable oil. The staff is very friendly, the place is nice, there is a public parking in front of it. Situated near the beach (= dijk, digue) prices are often overrated and here too. But we were glad to eat something we liked together with our omnivore family.

Overpriced and bad - Edit
I thought that Brussels restaurants tended to be overpriced and lack in quality but that's nothing compared to the Belgian Coast. This restaurant serves the most expensive burger I have ever tried,at more than 20€. The burger is made with cashews and it tastes and feels like a nougat. It is unbelievably hard and the taste is just bad.
Read moreThe curry is not any better. What they call a curry is a mix of vegetables, cut in huge pieces, with a hint of spices. Not even close to a biryani.
I can't recommend it to anyone who doesn't hate food.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Horrible food, Extremely high prices

3rd time unlucky - Edit
This time I opted for something different as I didn’t want to eat the same thing every time I go there. I opted for the veg biryani which was incredibly disappointing. I have previously had the guacamole Punk Power which seemed to be prepared with the same finesse as the meat and fish dishes. This had enormous chunks of veg in watery biryani sauce which didn’t give of the same aura of fine cooking. Aside from the lack of spices in curry (and I’m not talking about hotness) the nan bread appeared to be deep fried or at least fried in a lot of fat. Strangely it was still nice and was the high point of my meal. I give 2 stars on the basis of the 2 previous times I eaten here (I would have rated it 4 stars then) and the fact that my daughter really enjoyed her cashew nut burger. If I reviewed this on the basis of my meal tonight it would be a one star review. It is really time to up your game on the veggie options and update your menu.
