Cheapest place for 3 course vegan meal

You can choose to donate for 3 course vegan meal between 11 and 14 euros which is probably the cheapest in Nijmegen. Big portions.

Pros: Friendly staff, Cheap meal, All vegan

Gezellig en goed eten

Lekker eten, goed gezelschap, tof pand, mega betaalbaar en winst gaat naar een goed doel. De brunches zijn episch qua smaak en keuze!

Nice squatter vibe, all vegan and organic.

De Klinker is a legalised squat that still has the squatter vibe. All the food and drinks served are 100% vegan and organic. On days when dinner is served, you can get a full three course meal for just €7.50. There's no menu, only the menu of the day. The courses are served to all patrons at the same time.

Pros: 100% vegan and organic, Great food, Really low price

Cons: No menu - what is served is what you eat

Very nice

This really shouln't be in the "organization" part of Happy Cow as it's a quite big café with often events, food and day-café on Saturdays, and not an office or something.

Went to the Saturday day cafe. Very friendly people, and nice vegan snacks + drinks for super low prices. Always well worth going here!

non profit & 100% vegan

probably my favorite place to get lunch. It's non profit, run by volunteers and the food is amazing. I love the vegan desserts, around €1 or €2 so it's the cheapest I've seen so far. I've only ever been to the day cafe and it's not too crowded around 1 or 2 pm. The menu varies from toast with vegan cheese, to sandwiches with fake meat, hearty meals and dessert. This one time I had a lemon pistachio's cake which was the best cake I've ever tasted.
The people are friendly and it's a nice place to finish up some work.

The only downside are the opening hours, for awhile it wasn't consistent which resulted in standing in front of closed doors.

Pros: Cheap, nice people, , Best vegan desserts, Non profit

Cons: the anarchist side may seem overwhelming, sometimes a little too loud, opening hours were off for awhile

lovely place, people and food

We went for a sunday dinner (starter 1 euro, main 3 euro, dessert 1 euro) and we enjoyed it very much. Most people come at 7pm and you order and pay first at the bar and the food comes out for all the people at the same time for everyone. The soup was amazingly tasty and the main course was also quite nice. The place is big and spacious and peopls are super friendly.

The city is also very pretty and has many alternative charming places (and hills and a view!). Definitely worth a visit!

Pros: Very cheap, tasty, friendly, charming

Honest and free

A basic former squating place that turned legit and has several days with good, honest food for a very low price. Its run by volunteers.

Pros: Cheap, Easy-going, laidback atmosphere

Cons: Must be confortable with the atmosphere

I Loved it

Amazing atmosphere, nice food, cool place.
We had a very nice dinner with 3 courses: peanut carrot soup, lentils, potato curry, rice and beets with red cabbage. As a dessert (and I had to go to the kitchen to ask for the recipe), an carrot/apple crumble pie with soy cream.

Thank you guys for the great dinner

So inspiring!!

The first time I went to the Klinker is almost ten years ago. I just met my girlfriend and she lived hundred meters away from this awesome place. I've been there every now and than since.

De Klinker is simply amazing. They serve a three course meal for very cheap and it's always vegetarian, always possible to make it vegan. You don't have options, there's only one menu. The queality of the dishes depend on the volunteers in the kitchen. Sometimes it's mindblowing, sometimes it sucks.
Ever since the squat is legalized, they also have soup cafe and daycafe. You can get (vegan) tosti's, coffee and such.

I have to say this is one of hte most inspiring places I have ever been. It's incredible. It seems everything is possible.

If you're into leftwing politics, vegetarian/ vegan diners, great atmosphere... go there!

Pros: cheap!, vegan!, autonomous!
