Kitchen closes at 2.30 - Edit
Very disappointed that we couldn’t have lunch here. Kitchen closes at 2.30 and We were told that the restaurant closes at 3.00. We arrived at 2.34 (Wednesday). Perhaps it is open later on other days.

On y va parce que c’est tout simplement délicieux. Ambiance agréable, j’ai mangé un plat chaud et réconfortant « Ovenshotel”pour une journée pluvieuse c’était exquis !

Read moreLast time I visited Kleinkeuken it looked quite different with a bulk section in the restaurant BUT luckily the food was as tasteful and the staff as friendly as before.
I used to visit regularly when I was studying here and was always amazed by the seasonal menu's they proposed. Today I enjoyed a mint kombucha and seitan salad which was a filling, had the right amount of bite and a delicious dressing. The chalkboard offered a moussaka, which was so tempting that I ordered one to go. Their dishes are clearly fresh and change seasonally, which offers regularly changing dishes.
Pros: They very kindly used my own containers , for take-away, Seasonal menu, Cosy athmosphere, Very friendly staff

So points for originality and the taste was great. The tofu was crispy and had a bit of a fried texture, which suited the dish very well!
Mmm I wish I had some more leftovers right now..
My boyfriend had the burger which was also pretty big & delicious

Food is very nice, very good value for money (on the cheap side). Pie/cake is overpriced though.

I have been here three times now, and each time I've loved my meal. I've had hotchpotch, courgetti bolognese, and spelt penne with spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and walnuts. I also love the hot chocolate with soy milk. Yesterday I brought my own jar to buy toasted coconut flakes there as well. If you want tasty guilt-free food, a great atmosphere, and a menu that changes very often, I highly recommend De KleinKeuken!
