Part of buffet restaurant group in Portugal, this one est. 2015 and converted to all-vegan in 2018. Self service, all-you-can-eat style. Offers an all-vegan spread with a variety of of dishes for lunch and dinner. Beverages and dessert are separate from the buffet price. Open Mon-Sun 09:00-23:00.

We’ve eaten the buffet here before, and as everyone has stated, it’s great. A rare AYCE vegan-everything buffet.
Read moreThis time we went for dessert only. It’s not AYCE, so we paid for 4 different desserts. Roughly 4.25 euro each. Our server looked at us like we were crazy, but it’s rare when we get to sample a little of everything, so we went with it!
The chocolate brownie pie, tiramisu, and banana cream pie were fantastic, the tiramisu was the standout, and the brownie pie is a chocolate lovers dream. It was very creamy and soft, which is how we like it.
Last note was the berry “cheesecake”? Not exactly sure what it was meant to be, but a little too gelatinous for our liking. Go for something else like the berry tart, banana bread with cream, or orange loaf.
The only other thing is I like my dessert cold, no matter the item, and wish these were on the colder side.
Over all, a very indulgent “dinner”!

We stayed in Porto for 4 nights and we only visited daTerra every day! The buffet concept is amazing! Staff were so friendly and food was delicious. The variety, quality and concept was perfect. Prices were reasonable. I wish this concept was more common in other countries!

Second Time DaTerra! - Edit
It is the second time I go eating in one of the DaTerra restaurants. The first time was at the stand in Mercado. This time I also tried the Banoffee pie. I had to take another slice bc it was divine.

Read moreThey offer a buffet on lunch and dinner with many choices and you can create your own plate. I found just every dish delicious.
However I may complain a little bit for the breakfast as we ordered the menu brunch and found It a little hard to eat and enjoy (a huge plain bread toast with no topping on it and also seemed like the bread was not from the same day)
My recommendation: go on lunch or dinner time and you Will enjoy It better.

The food was okay, but customer service is hit or miss. Some staff were extremely good, but unfortunately, some were not. Would recommend the Mercado location, although more food options at this location. Would Rate 3.5 if possible.

Um buffet vegano variado, saboroso e a um preço muito justo! Custa 10,50€/12,50€ (depende do dia da semana) para comer a vontade. O ambiente é agradável, mas não muito silencioso, pois fica localizado em uma região bastante movimentada. As sobremesas também são deliciosas (principalmente a Banoffe)!

We were a bit confused as we wanted the sandwich on the menu outside but were told buffet was the only option! In the end we enjoyed our meal and the food was lovely and healthy. However, the service could have been better.

You can eat as soon as you arrive. Staff are friendly and attentive. There is a lot of variety of food, all labelled with ingredients and allergens in bold - super helpful! All you can eat for $12.50 is amazing value for money. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I celebrated the last evening after completing the caminho portuguêse in this wonderful restaurant. It was such a delicious meal from the buffet. Everything I tried tasted wonderful. The decor is very friendly and the staff very attentive. I felt very comfortable and will come back next time I am in Porto.

Read moreI’m not really sure what I ate (I tried a bit of everything). There was pasta, grains, salads, tofu, grilled veg, cheesey bakes, falafel, roasted veg and a range of sauces and condiments as well as various breads/focaccia. I’m not sure whether the variety changes from day-to-day, but everything had a great flavour and it was nice to sample all the different dishes.
Desserts and drinks not included in the buffet, but still reasonably priced at €10.50 for the lunch buffet.
