Went to the bakery and asked about the pastries. Counter staff confirmed that all contained butter. Unsure if they are not knowledgeable or incorrectly listed.

Fantastic vegan pastries - Edit
We loved the pastries we tried here! Although they aren’t labeled vegan, the staff reports that there are 4 vegan options - cherry and apple strudels and raspberry and apple turnovers. Everything was deliciously flaky and had generous fruit fillings.

Nothing is labeled vegan, but they typically have as vegan options: cherry streusel, apple streusel, apple turnover, raspberry turnover, and iced cinnamon bread loaf. The pretzels have egg wash so, unfortunately, are not vegan. If you aren’t sure, just ask!

It was so yummy and they have really good vegan options. Their raspberry turnover was really good and I asked what vegan options they have and they have a lot of items like the cherry strudel, raspberry turnover, Apple fritters, cinnamon bread, and more items!

So tasty and friendly staff! I had the apple turnover, which was reported vegan by the cashier helping us, and an oat milk americano. We will definitely be back on out next trip to Leavenworth!

Their staff was always kind and friendly to us. We’ve grabbed drinks at this place a couple of times during our stay in Leavenworth. They offer plant milks and have a nice variety of vegan drink options.
Read moreI didn’t really get why there was a danish bakery in the center of the town, instead of a German bakery. We haven’t tried any of their baked goods - it all looked very delish and cute tho!

Popped in for an afternoon coffee. They have soy milk for your coffee. In talking with the server, she told us the strudel and turnovers (except raspberry cream cheese) were vegan. She even checked with the other server (who was vegan) if anything else was. She then gave us some other local vegan restaurant recommendations. Simple decor and cash only. Really good turnovers!

The Apple Strudel is vegan - Edit
The apple and cherry strudels are vegan. I called the bakery prior to see if they had anything vegan and they said these two items were vegan. When I went in there though, the cashier told me nothing was vegan but I asked her to check and she confirmed those items were vegan. The food was good. Wish the staff knew their stuff though
