My favourite eatery in Birmingham! I’ve been coming here since it first opened and I still absolutely love their food! Good selection of vegan options. Very reasonably priced. Good coffee. Amazing food! Highly recommend the falafels!

Been here many times, they have recently added extra seats in the back (much needed). Very friendly service, 5stars (only allowed for vegan places on this app!); Lots of teas, coffees, and vegan cakes (gluten free options too).

Popped in for a quick coffee whilst shopping in Moseley, wanting a change from the usual High St chain offering. So glad we did, it was wonderful!
Read moreThe beautiful aroma that hits you as you enter is very enticing, and so the quick coffee turned into vegan pastries, Turkish coffee and vegan cake! The decor and music adds to what feels like an authentic experience too.
I’ve never had Turkish coffee before and it was absolutely delicious. We were brought some Turkish Delight too; the manager wasn’t sure if it had been taken from the box labelled vegan and very kindly brought us some more. All of the staff were friendly too.
The pastries we had we small but extremely tasty. Would definitely order more next time! I was surprised at the choice of vegan cake and both that we tried were lovely.
Looking forward to a return visit again soon!

I love everything about Damascena. The food is amazing and vegan options are clearly labeled which makes the whole visit so easy.

Personal favourites are the falafel wrap and batata harra.
They also have an amazing range of vegan desserts. I highly recommend their stupidly rich vegan chocolate brownie.
I have to highlight their vegan baklava. This stuff is a work of art. I haven't had Baklava from many other places, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I don't feel like I want it from anywhere else.
The music is also very authentic and the staff was really helpful in showing me what artists and playlists they had and helped me find them on Spotify so I could take a piece of Damascena's warm and cozy environment away with me.

Love heading to damascena. Vegan options are really clearly labelled making it a breeze to order delicious food. Vegan meze, vine leaves and falafel wrap are all firm favourites. They also do wonderful tea and coffee (the Moroccan fresh mint tea is so good!)

I LOVE this restaurant and have been many times. It's food is amazing and is my first option when wanting to eat out. Definately recommend and the falafel wrap is my favourite choice. Has a lovely cake/pastry section up front with an amazing chocolate vegan cake you have to try. Lots of vegan options.
