pleasant and modern ambience with average food - Edit
Daily Gourmand offers one vegan starter (tzatziki , which is actually a cucumber salad) three vegan mains (burger, curry or a salad) and two vegan desserts (fruits with coconut sauce or a vegan cheese plate).
Read moreWe chose the tzatziki , the burger and the cheese. As mentioned the tzatziki is a cucumber salad and was quite tasty, but nothing special. The burger was delicious and topped with interesting ingredients. As a side we had fries and some leaves of lettuce. The fries were soggy and were missing salt and the lettuce was without a dressing.
As the grand finale we had the vegan cheese plate and it was our favourite. The used cashew cheese (Tyk) was very delicious and we didn’t know the brand.
All in all I can recommend „Daily Gourmand“ to get something to eat while in Vannes (there isn’t that much of a choice). You‘ll get solid food for an average price and the ambience and staff is very welcoming and nice.

I had the vegan menu (starter, main and dessert) and all was delicious and generous. Staff was friendly and aware of veganism. It's a nice place with several vegan option including vegan cheese ! I will definetly come back !

It was a rare treat to find a restaurant in Brittany that had three vegan options for a main. I had a vegan burger, which was a little soft and had to eaten with a knife and fork, and a slaw. The food tasted great though. We sat outside on the terrace in the shade and enjoyed the ambience.

De burger is tweedelig. Eentje op basis van rode bonen en eentje op basis van aardappel. Deze laatste vervangt dan frietjes (die ik bij een burger eigenlijk liever had gekregen). Wel verzorgd en lekker. Het zoetzuur slaatje is hemels.
