Close to train station and they offer to-go options in their side store. Fair prices and generous portions. Seems to be all fresh. The vegan tonkatsu was delicious. Would go there again!

Dadawan is een van mijn favoriete plekken om te eten. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed, en het personeel altijd vrolijk. 😊 Er zijn veel vegetarische opties, je kunt ook aangeven of je het veganistisch wilt. 🌱💚 Het enige wat ik jammer vind is de lobster die op het menu staat en in het aquarium zit. (Dit is best confronterend voor een vegetariër).

The food and vegan options are okay, but the fact that they have lobster on the menu and you see the lobsters in the tank makes this a vegan unfriendly environment for me.

Don’t understand the hype - Edit
Very cheap prices, food is not great and all super sweet!!! I’ve tried the curry, sushi, stone bowl and noodles. They all tastes the same and toooo sweet. It’s nice that they have vegetarian options which they can all make vegan. But the deep fried snacks are fried in the same oil with meat so be careful. Personally I really don’t like the food here but there’s always a long line outside. So they must be doing something good.

Nice vegan options for a fair price - Edit
Dadawan is a great option if you're looking for a non-vegan restaurant with tasty vegan dishes. I usually get the vegetarian stone bowl without the egg and either the fruit or the vegi sushi roll without mayo (make sure you make it clear it's without mayo it accidentally had it on two different occasions when I ordered it).
Read moreIt's fairly priced, in a good central location just opposite of the Maastricht train station, it is open until quite late and it's a very large restaurant so reservations don't seem to be necessary.
All in all, I'd recommend it.
