If you’re surfing and you’re starving - Edit
The burritos are big, for sure. And this is a cute place. Other reviews have noted the lackluster flavor in the rice and beans. The steamed veg they added is also bland. Yes, there’s a variety of hot sauce, but that’s not gonna add cooked in flavor. Other local “Mexican” places are worse, so if you can’t make it yourself then I guess go here? The omnis love it, so there’s often a line. Whatever you do, don’t eat at the pizza place across the street.

Great little tiki burrito joint - Edit
Their burritos are awesome! We got one with vegan chorizo. Very tasty! Vizayo sauce was ok but the chili sauce was delicious. Will definitely get it next time!

Vegan Burrito 🌯 - Edit
We had the vegan burrito with sweet chili topping. The beans and rice were very bland. We should have added the vegan chorizo to spice it up.

Neighborhood Place - Edit
Burritos, bowls. Cute, laid-back surfery place. They will veganize anything on request. The burritos are giant, but mainly dry rice and very bland bland bland bland black beans. People like the hot sauces, but they add heat not flavor, which is what this food needs. Bottled drinks.

Excellent vegan bliss burrito with an amazing creamy curry sauce. Definitely a notch above the standard vegan burrito options.

Very Good - Edit
Very good burrito clearly marked Vegan. They also have a bowl that is vegan. The mild sauce is delicious. The burrito is huge! This is definitely shack and has a nice vibe. The line gets long but moves fast. I almost didn’t come here because of some of the reviews but then noticed the bad ones are all old. Very glad we came here. Give this place a try!

vegan bliss now on the menu! - Edit
the best burrito place on the beach now has a vegan bliss bowl or burrito. how wonderful not having to explain, no dairy... i had the bowl at the restaurant, and took the burrito to go. fresh ingredients and tastes great. if you have not been here before, don't worry if there is a line. it is worth waiting in line! you won't regret it.

Good shack - Edit
Great burritos, bowls, and tacos. Several of them can be vegan and most would be great for a vegetarian. Loved their hot sauces. Both I and the carnivore I had lunch with really enjoyed our food. Not fancy AT ALL, but the open air dining area and shack-chic decor suit where they are located.

Best hot sauce - Edit
My husband and I eat hot sauce like nobody's business and this place has huge bottles of really spicy hot sauce that you can douse on your food to your heart's desire.
Read moreStaff is happy to accommodate vegan orders and the prices are reasonable. About on par with other burrito places in the area as far as food quality. Affordable place to have someone make you a burrito with rice and beans (and hot sauce). We like that we can eat here and it's not fancy, over-priced vegan fare.

I've had better. - Edit
This place is on A1A across from the beach and is kind of a dive. All outdoor seating and not the cleanest place I've ever been. The staff seems to be high school age and isn't always that knowledgeable, but they are friendly. Not a very vegan-friendly place, with limited options. The guacamole is a disappointment, not fresh. The tortilla chips taste like a cheap grocery store brand. Spicy carrots are amazing...definitely my favorite thing on the menu. I usually get the "Barney Bowl" (A Big Ladle Black Beans And A Large Scoop Of Jasmine Rice, Topped With Fresh Chopped Green Onions And Red Bell Peppers- Served In A Large Bowl) with guac.

Horrible! - Edit
I have to agree with the other reviews; so bland, plain white rice, canned beans, runny, odd tasting "sauces" that weren't Mexican tasting in the slightest.
Read moreI got mine in a bowl and paid extra for guacamole. I went back up to the counter because I couldn't find any guac. They insisted it was on there and said they put it on the bottom. I eventually found some watery, pale green stuff that I assume was guac. YUCK!
My daughter got a burrito and I swear it was nothing but one blob of rice and an entire can of black beans; nothing else. So plain, bland, and just gross.
It's sad that Chipotle, a fast food, chain restaurant is a hundred times better than this place.
Pros: None
Cons: Horrible sauce instead of salsa, Plain, bland rice, Canned beans without seasoning

Yuck!! Vegans avoid at all costs! - Edit
My family of four vegans had lunch here several weeks ago. It is an outside shack with umbrellas and a counter for ordering attached to a trailer. I ordered a taco salad, the others got vegetable burritos. Their idea of a salad is shredded iceberg lettuce, unseasoned, canned black beans, plain white rice, and a selection of greasy squeeze bottles with uber spicy sauces. They had no other dressings or vinegars, etc. I tasted the salad and promptly returned it. The kids complained the entire time they ate their burritos about the complete lack of flavor, but ate them as they were starving. Even my husband, who has no sense of taste, balked at eating his burrito. Why do mexican restaurants in Florida think that ultra spicy is a substitute for flavor? They are not inter changable. The food should taste good by itself, and not require an extra sauce. I guess the assumption is that if your taste buds are on fire, you won't notice that the food tastes like something you would usually refuse. We won't be going back.

Bland and not vegan friendly - Edit
My wife, son, and I went here and were thoroughly unimpressed with the food and eating vegan here is very difficult. The burritos were very bland with beans and rice out of a can. The restaurant relies on hot sauces for flavor and all the sauces use habanero, which kills your taste buds. All seating is outdoors and there are umbrellas, but a Florida rain storm can make it wet.
