Check Out Their Buns! - Edit
Baos were wanted, so baos it was! Though there is only one fully vegan bun on the menu, the cheeseboager was easy enough to customise. Of the latter, it probably did suffer a touch from said adaptions but it was excellent all the same. The strictly vegan option however was even better and I would more that happily return for another two or three any time.

Kapitan Haus (bar) - Edit
Upstairs at Da Bao is their Kapitan Haus bar; you can order the Da Bao offerings here, too. It's quite an interesting venue with friendly service, a bit expensive in KL terms.

Underwhelming and limited options - Edit
We went here because we really wanted a savoury vegan bao. The restaurant looks nice, but the food is underwhelming. The only vegan option was missing flavour and it had a weak but weird fishy taste to it. My friend had the vegan chicken, but that was with aoili so not vegan. That bao was a lot better, so would be nice if they could add a vegan sauce. We also had the seared mushrooms, which were very oily and honestly did not taste nice at all. The same fishy and slight sweet smell was present. The grilled brocooli we had was better but also had a weak and slightly sweet taste which I do not really like. Mainly I feel like the sauces could be improved. The portion sizes are okay but it is very expensive compared to everything else.

Amazing Baos - Edit
The Bao buns are out of this world and really filling. They offer two vegan options, I tries the vegan Bao and can 100% recommend it! The mushrooms and the tofu are a perfect combination on the Bao.
