No vegan food - Edit
They said they have no vegan food. Nothing. Very strange. I asked for bread and vegetable which is on the menu but they were not able to prepare.

Great Granita bad service - Edit
The granita is really great. We went all summer almost weekly because of this. Sadly enough the service is really bad. Here are some examples:
Read moreWe asked once if it was possible to have plant based milk for a cappuccino because we were staying all summer there. They replied: just for 1 person out of 100 I am not going to buy plant milk…. (They could’ve just said no)
Other times they charged too much on our bill for things we didn’t have. And we had the pane cunzato which was not bad but we all (6 people) had severe stomach cramps afterwards (we guess from the onions..?)
These are just a couple of things we experienced from this summer. So if you like to try the best granita of the Aeolian islands this is the place to be but don’t expect anything from the service or them being vegan friendly… and check your bill before you pay!
Pros: Great granita
Cons: Worst service of all the Aeolian

Vegan Pane Cunzato and Granita - Edit
A very cute seaside cafe with vegan versions of the island's local specialties. Pane Cunzato is a thick local bread piled high with toppings, and the "VeganSalina" here has tons of fresh veggies. Granita is a delicious frozen treat made from fruit or nuts and comes in many flavors -- enjoy it for breakfast or dessert!
