Vegan Huarache - Edit
You can find the veggie/vegan options under the blue zones. The huarache was tasty (but very spicy) and I really enjoyed the use of the veggies. It felt filling but still healthy.

Excellent - Edit
This is a classic Mexican style place, with all the bright colors, open kitchen, and a packed parking lot that it shares with an auto shop next door. Seems to be very authentic Oaxacan food. Home made tortillas, tasty vegan mole, nopales salad - Yum! They have a whole section of the menu (Blue Zones) that is vegan. Unfortunately, there were only two tables (both 4-tops) outside so that can be a bit of a problem if it’s really busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes for an outside table. I got the Huarache dish which was just the right size for me and very flavorful with mushrooms, squash blossoms, mole. They have other vegan dishes that are larger portions. The staff are very helpful and service good. They also have take-out. I'll for sure go again!

Unlike any other vegan Mexican food - Edit
The food here is Oaxaca style. I discovered it from reading HappyCow reviews while traveling through 101 Hwy to search what to eat.
Read moreWhat we had were delicious, selecting from their vegan/blue zone menu. I had the Huarache which is tostada like but with soft tortilla and was piled with mushrooms, squash blossom and pesto like sauce and salsa. On the side was Nopales salad. Hubby had a big burrito filled with the same filling of my huarache plus rice, beans, and avocado. There are no meat substitutes were used. But they tasted so good. We were surprised how the taste is unique and unlike the vegan Mexican food we have tasted before.
The coffee was yummy with the cinnamon taste in it and was served in a pretty mug. The pineapple Agua Fresca was delicious and made with real fruit.
I recommend it and feel better than eating meat substitute burgers like Carl’s or Burger King.
Pros: Unique, Price is reasonable , Delicious

Great Find - Edit
I would have never stopped here (except I read the review on Happy Cow). This place did not disappoint. I had the "Blue Zones Inspired", burrito. Tom had the tacos. It was deliciously different. Cactus and squash blossoms added interest. The green sauce had nice flavor.

We were on our way to Santa Rosa and decided to stop and try this place for lunch, so glad we did! The chips were hot like just made and the salsa was fresh and delicious. Wish it was closer to hometown!!

Best Mexican food I've had in years - Edit
Loved the food - with the mole sauce, cactus and squash blossoms - tried the Pascal, the Tlayudas Vegana (sort of a pizza topped with beans, rice, cactus, avocados and blossoms) and the vegan burrito. All very flavorful, filling and tasted great the next day as well. Casual setting. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing! - Edit
I’ve been looking for a plant based restaurant in the Salinas area for a while and am so happy to have found this one. The food is incredible with multiple vegan options. They have a blue zones menu! We got the burrito and taco - both delicious. I would definitely recommend and will get again.

Fantastic food! - Edit
Their food is delicious! It's hard to find vegan options at a Oaxacan restaurant, but they have a whole page of menu items, plus a few more that are vegetarian. Friendly staff, colorful interior, and affordable food. I've only had the potato tlacoyos (without cheese) and the pascal, but they were both great and I'll be back to try the rest of the vegan menu. I definitely recommend eating here.
