Yummy mushroom and rice - Edit
I got the Peru traditional dish with mushroom and rice based on our host’s recommendation. Delicious! Unfortunately, we were in a hurry so we didn’t get to take the time to enjoy it. They have a calming rooftop sitting. The staff was very nice. Our host spoke English well.

Small portion and dissapointing taste:( - Edit
Ok so I got really excited to eat the ceviche de champiñones. Sadly my portion was really small, almost only consisted of onions- was really hard to find the few mushrooms in that dish haha. They served it with toasted maiz/ canchitas but sadly with nothing else- usually would be served with some camote or chifles.. Also..It is a very white people hippy place/ didnt feel very comfortable.

What hit me since I entered Cultura Viviente was the full awareness of what and how they are serving. Food air fried, gluten free, sugar free, chemical free, no aluminum pots, cheap daily menu, food served on clay plates!!! The list of options is creative and traditional at the same time😄I have never seen such a list of hot drinks and elixirs that I didn’t even know they existed! Delicious, pretty cheap, fully aware local business!!! I will come back and come back and come back !!!

Very Disappointing - Edit
Firstly the food is way overpriced for what it is, and not really good at all. One of us got a large pizza and all I can say is that a large pizza for s/30 should not leave someone still hungry! I got a quesadilla, and while the idea of a homemade wrap is great, it could at least be cooked properly, especially since it took nearly 45 minute to get it when we were the only ones in the restaurant, surely there was sufficient time to fully cook the wrap. Instead what I got was a half cooked pancake with a few slices of bell pepper and rocket....... definitely not worth the s/30!!!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience! We now have a new revised menu that is all very filling & super yum for less than 30 soles. Also a new chef!! 30s is the equivalent to $7, but now almost everything on our menu is less than that. We try to keep everything super affordable here and nourishing. Hope you enjoyed your time in Peru & if you ever come back we'll totally comp you on that meal for some of our new options!

I came there in the days of preparation for an ayahuasca ceremony and told them that while ordering so my food was quite boring (no salt, or flavor allowed on the diet basically haha) but I was very touched that my server took such care in safeguarding my dieta, and I saw a lot of very delicious looking plates come out that had great smells so surely good flavor. It’s decently priced, with a beautiful eating room, organic medicinals, and a rooftop garden. So far my favorite vegan restaurant in Pisac

Great food all vegan meals Vegan "Buffalo chicken" ,vegan pizza. Great drinks like peanut butter banana you can add maca or chaga in your drink for three sols. long wait but I'd still totally rate it 5 stars.

This is a great community centre, feels like home and expats living in Pisac hang out here to enjoy each others company, play music and love life. It has a great vibe. The challenge is the food I've had (6 dishes now) have all been pretty average at best. And it is incredibly slow. Come to hang out and have amazing teas or cacao.

Absolute disappointment - Edit
Worst meal in a while. I got the Mediterranean Bowl. It looked nice, but the taste was absolute disappointing: the falafel was burnt and the other salads were so oversalted that I did not finish although I was really hungry. Would not reccomend or go again. My partner got a different dish but was similarly disappointed.

they offer so many vegan options, bowls, bagle, scrambled tofu... prices are high for Peru but considering the quality of the food it's reasonable. 15 sol for a smoothie bowl.

Sorry if it wasn't clear on the menu. ❤️ We work with a small family biodynamic bee keepers who love and tend the bee's & medicinal gardens in the High Andes of Peru. Also (just so you know) the alpaca thread is also ethical, woven by hand by mamitas, & does not hurt the animals! ❤️

Delicious healthy and comfy - Edit
Lots of unique items of the menu especially for being so much healthier than most vegan places. Smoothies, teas, baked goods, nut butters all on top of the wonderful menu. Owners are very down to earth and friendly. Portions are kind of small for the price, but still delicious.
