Menu has shrunk

It was okay, they only have two options the tacos and Quesadilla. The churros were eggless, which was really good.

Lots of options

They had an entire menu just for vegan food! Iceland is really on a whole other level when it comes to catering to vegans.

Food was average, nothing amazing. We got some tacos and a quesadilla, the cheese was good.

Clean interior and friendly staff. They also offered free espresso which was a great little pick-me-up.

Pros: Vegan menu

Cons: Confusing location

Great Mexican food

Had the vegan burrito and tacos. Both meals were really good and delicious. Fall 2021.

No longer has vegan menu

This place apparently used to have a separate vegan menú/section with lots of options. That is no longer the case. Now there are only two options - quesadilla and tacos which are essentially the same ingredients.

Great vegan burritos!

We asked for 2 takeaway vegan burritos and they were full of taste and of decent size. I could easily have eaten a second one.

Pros: Great taste, Vegan options

Cons: I would prefer the burritos to be a bit bigger

Better than I expected

Ate here on my last day in Iceland and got 1 burrito to eat for lunch and 1 to eat on the plane. I think it was the "classic" vegan burrito or something to that effect. Rice, beans, pico de gallo, some peppers. It was made with brown rice and a whole wheat tortilla which I'm generally not a fan of, but after eating junk food all week it was a very nice change of pace. For some reason the burrito I'd saved to eat on the plane was even better than the one I had in the restaurant! They were pretty well sized and filling but without making you feel horrible. Would have been better with some avocado or guacamole, but that's my bad for not thinking to add it!

Finding parking near this place was a nightmare around lunchtime on a Thursday.

Pros: Healthy, Lots of vegan options

Cons: Difficult to find parking

Vegan menu (English), quick service, decent portion

Went here as it was one of the nearest places to our Airbnb that had vegan options listed on happy cow! I was so pleased to know it had a full vegan menu. The menu is both in Icelandic and English.

We arrived about 8pm on a Saturday night, there was free parking available right outside. There was plenty of seating available, no booking necessary. The staff spoke English.

We ordered our food, you have to order and pay at the till and you’re given a plastic device which vibrates when the food is ready so you pick it up from the counter. We got a main meal each and 2 drinks.

I got the Mexican vegan burger which came with nachos and vegan mayo, and an apple juice. My husband got a main dish from the regular menu and a bottle of Coke Zero. It came to the equivalent of £29.40 (they accept card payments). Reasonable for what we expected about prices in Iceland, it was our first meal here!

There was free tap water available in jugs too.

My food wasn’t bad, the burger itself was topped with the guacamole and salsa so it was hard to eat the traditional way you would a burger, it was sloppy but it was filling and served its purpose.

There was also vegan mayo and houmous available to buy from the fridges. Pricey though.

Thoroughly Enjoyable

I enjoyed every bite of my meal! Very thankful that there is a separate, entirely vegan menu - since I cannot speak/read the language here. The portion is large and tasty. I will definitely return here. The staff even pointed out which of the sauces were vegan. Reasonably priced for Iceland (coming from the states, everything here is costly).

Pros: friendly staff, tasty food

Cons: address in app may be slightly off

Great option for Mexican food

There's a dedicated vegan menu with plenty of options. I usually go between the vegan nachos and the vegan hot plate. Solid option if you're craving Mexican food and are in the area. Not the cheapest, but you get a fair portion for the price.

Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Fair portions
