At least six vegan options, mostly sorbet. They have rare cassis (blackberry) sorbet!
Additionally they had dark chocolate and coconut cream.
Just ask for vegan when you order!

Pros: Close to the lake

Limited options - Edit

All fruit flavours are vegan. They're sorbets, not ice cream. I had the apricot, it was okay but not overly tasty. At the time I was there, they only had one vegan ice cream: the dark chocolate.

Cones are not vegan, you should opt for a cup.

Good and simple ice cream! - Edit

All of the fruit flavors were vegan, and also the dark chocolate one. It didn’t state anywhere which of the ice creams were vegan, so we had to ask (but luckily the guy working there knew!)! Unfortunately the ice cream was a bit melted already when we got it, as you can see in the photo. It seemed as if the freezer wasn’t cool enough because the other ice creams looked the same. The ice cream cone is NOT vegan!

Odd Place - Edit

I'm sure this is a fine place for an omni. However, the vibe is just off in there for me.

They do make a lot of effort to declare what's vegan and what's not, but the vegan flavours are just really unappealing to me personally. Like, there's a mix of basic gelato flavours and some really strange ones, neither of which are all that interesting.

As other comments have said, go down the street to the Coop City and get yourself some ice cream there, or go to the Lion Monument and get a gelato from the ice cream store there.

Pretty good coconut flavor - Edit

Seems there was an alternating selection of ice cream flavors which meant I missed out on the chocolate but I was able to experience the coconut flavor which was pretty good.

Pros: Creamy texture like real ice cream, Possibly good selection

Cons: Inconsistent flavors , Possibly small selection

Extra Dark Chocolate - Edit

Clear ingredients displayed for each flavour so Vegan can spot the options. Tried Extra Dark Chocolate one, not so dark but still tasty and creamy. Staff is friendly but can has more knowledge on their products. Stop by if you have a chance.

Strange range of goods - Edit

There are vegan ice cream options but most of the time, they are out of stock. The staff doesn‘t has much knowledge about their own product range (told us that Doppelrahm which means Double Cream is vegan …).
It‘s a pity, as the vegan dark chocolate is really good but was out of stock, the last two times we visited the store.
Definitely room for improvement.

Pros: Dark chocolate ice cream is very tasty

Cons: Vegan options out of stock most of the time, Staff doesn’t know much about the vegan products

Cuckoo has a bit more vegan options than the other ice cream parlors in Lucerne, unfortunately, the vanilla ice cream really doesn’t taste good and the chocolate ice cream is mediocre in best case. It is great that they are trying to offer some variety but hopefully they will work on the recipes. So far I would rather suggest to go to the supermarket nearby and get better ice cream (for less money) there.
