Real Soul Food! ❤️ - Edit
This is some of the best vegan soul food I’ve ever had! I’ve been to other vegan soul food restaurants (in Oakland and Atlanta). While those restaurants are also delicious, Crystals Soul Food nails it on the salt level! Their greens, for instance, are not too salty; it’s just right.

Bonus: the mac ‘n’ cheez is incredible!

Food delicious, homeless not - Edit
The Cajun quesadilla my absolute favorite, but because of the busy location eating outside we had 3 homeless ask for money & while leaving 1 hit my shoulder me. Won't return due to the neighborhood sadly.

Why would you rate the restaurant low based on activity outside of it? It's not the problem of this small business.

Absolutely amazing - Edit
Definitely order ahead of time. Our food was so good- the jambalaya is spicy and delicious, bbq soul plate, collard greens, black eyed peas, corn cake… heaven. The catfish oyster mushrooms are the best I’ve had, hands down. Unique atmosphere full of plants- so glad we stopped by.

5 Stars Point Blank! - Edit
If I could highjack the night sky and deliver every Star in existence I would do so for this place. Stellar to say the least. The flavor they put into their food is miraculous. That gumbo especially. The vibe of the establishment is drippin with exotic plants and glistening Crystals. Their tip jar is a singing bowl which is a little extra but hey so is giving a tip. The soul plates are my favorite and I wish I knew how they make that corncake so damn bomb. The burgers make me forget about In n Out and that coconut shrimp Po Boy made me feel like I had a Creole girlfriend from Miami for a few bites. If you're ever in the L.A area and interested in Vegan I highly suggest you stop by and see if I'm trippin. Bring a non vegan friend if you must, they have something for everybody. Oh and their fresh juices! Garden picked passion fruits and herbs. This place deserves an award
