Dinner at Crown of India’s roof - Edit
High quality and lot of vegetarian and vegan variety very well indicated. Service is awesome. Important, you need to make a reservation with lot of anticipation to have dinner in the roof… which has an outstanding view and ambiance.

This charming restaurant is in the centre of the tourist area, just off la plaza de la iglesia. There are 6 different vegan main courses and several vegetarian courses. The menu has separate sections for vegetarian and vegan main courses.
Read moreI had the bhindi masala (okra), it was delicious! My companions had larka dal (lentils) and chana masala (chickpeas). It was all really good, with efficient, friendly service.
They also have an extensive wine list, but it was not labelled vg.

Great gem, delicious food and one of the best views we have ever had. I would come back here anytime. They even looked after us since it was our wedding anniversary. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food. BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT EVER! Not just your basic Indian restaurant, but you can really feel the love and effort in all the great flavours and spices. Beautiful interior and terrace with a top view of Altea, the mountains, and the ocean. I highly recommend the vegan aubergine dish (Bagun Bartha). So many vegan options!!

Excellent food, an all vegan 4 course menu for a very reasonable price, lovely decor, great music, friendly service. English is spoken. What a pity we cannot give them a 5 star rating because they are not exclusively vegan!

They have 4 types of set menus, one of them 100% vegan. They also had comments about which complimentary appetizer dips that were and weren't vegan (I was having lunch with a non-veg). Not a lot of dessert options, though.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is very nice, with a lovely terrace and great views. Waiters and other staff very helpful. We made a same day reservation just half an hour in advance and was confirmed immediately.
Very tasty and authentic, flavorful food. They make your curry, dal, etc. to your taste regarding hotness/mildness. Not cheap, but the views are worth it.
Pros: Fully vegan set price menu, Many other vegan options a la carte, The views!

Some of the best vegan food we had in the area. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, they are very popular and fill up fast. Go up to the top balcony for a great view while you eat.
