Top notch vegan fare - Edit
Of course, Crossroads Kitchen in West Hollywood is an iconic vegan destination. Fine dining atmosphere, superb food, good (not great) service. We ordered the signature Crossroads Bowl. Perfect, of course, but there are plenty of restaurants in town with bowls as good or better. Where Crossroads shines is their original specialty dishes. The Poached Pear with whopped feta is heavenly. And the Baby Beet Salad is simply sublime. Everyone should dine here at least once in their lives.

Excellent, varied vegan menu - Edit
Everything is excellent, from the pizza to the lasagna to the desserts. We made absolute pigs of ourselves and the only dish I probably wouldn’t order again is the braised leeks—nothing to write home about. I shouldn’t note that the other member of my party was my fully carnivorous brother, who had never previously eaten at a vegan restaurant. He was impressed, particularly by how closely things like the wedge salad with bleu cheese and bacon crumbles tasted just like the real thing.
Read moreWait staff was a bit pretentious, which was disappointing, but I wouldn’t let that deter me from future visits. They’ll be tipped in kind.

Great breakfast ok dinner bad service - Edit
Unfortunately the staff here seem very pretentious. The breakfast options are very tasty but the dinner was a bit of a disappointment maybe in part by the rude service.

Unforgettable Food - Edit
This place has truly unforgettable food. I’m in love with the way they use truffle. They did an amazing job making Italian based dishes with no dairy. You truly don’t give up anything being a vegan. #Veganuary

Ultimate gormet vegan cuisine - Edit
I love Crossroads Kitchen. The food here is high end gormet . Everything here is excellent but my favorite is the white lasagna and the kale salad. I can’t say enough good things about Crossroads Kitchen. I would add that is time to open up one in Pasadena, Ca.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN LA - Edit
I could close my eyes, point at random dishes to order from their menu, and still get a superb culinary experience with every single dish!!! Hands down THE best restaurant in LA, possibly in my top 5 around the world and I have been to Italy amongst other places. Really, you can't go wrong here. My personal preference is to order seasonally, meaning any one of their specials according to the season because those are dishes that you can't have every single time. But of course there is the truffle pasta that's always a delight, their cigars, stuffed zucchini flowers, just to name a few of their amazing classics. Not to mention- excellent service every single time we went, romantic and upbeat ambiance. Not sure why this place doesn't have a Michelin star but they don't need it, this place is full every single day of the week. Thank you crossroads, I love you and will be coming back always.

Wonderful and creative menu - Edit
The wide variety of options were grand. I enjoyed a little bit of every on the menu and ordered about eight dishes. I think the menu was carefully crafted so that each dish blended well and I felt encouraged to try a little bit of everything in each bite. Although some things I like more than other. I would come back and the service was quick, friendly and amazing.

Best “Italian” Vegan Food in West Hollywood CA - Edit
We had some non-vegan visitors from out of town. We did what we normally do and we "dragged" them to Crossroads Kitchen (one our most favorite vegan restaurants in LA). When they try the food they are simply blown away (carbonara, khachapuri, waffles & chikn, Italian sausage pizza, "eggs" Benedict, smashed potatoes, etc. They just say "wow, It just tastes amazing! I don't even care that it is vegan." We then introduced them to the vegan kale salad l and the vegan cheese plate. They aren't big salad eaters or cheese heads but they ended up converted (well to Crossroads Kitchen-ism anyway). They have made us promise that we will go there again next time they are in town.

Vegan Heaven - Edit
This place is an experience. The whole menu is vegan and the food and vibe are outstanding. I had the squash bottoms for an appetizer. OMG! And then the pasta bolognese for my entree and a brownie sundae for dessert. Just phenomenal. My dad and brother who aren’t vegan were blown away at how good the food is. It is pricey but worth the experience.

Best of the best. - Edit
Everything I have ever ordered here is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Can't ask for a better fine dining experience in LA! My partner and I always find an excuse to be in that neighborhood. I was born and raised down the street in the 60's through the early 90's and wish they were there then!

Fantastic Meal! - Edit
Came here for a special occasion, and they had so many vegan and gluten free options! All the pizzas by default come with vegan cheese and you can even get gluten free crust. Highly recommend any of the vegetables on the menu as well. It is more on the expensive side, but is such a fun restaurant environment!

Food so good you would sell your soul for it - Edit
I was amazed by my dinner experience at Crossroads Kitchen. The atmosphere is great and I really love their interior, the service is fast and very attentive and the food is to die for! It can be challenging to make a choice with all the delicious options, from what we tried the figs with cream and the scaloppini were the best, even though I have to say that this was also one of the best kale salads I ever had. The only thing I didn’t like was my cocktail but they were very nice and took it of the bill.

Carnal, Earthly Temptation to Distract your Wicked Heart with Satanic Satisfaction; Crossroads maybe be Hell on the Corner of Sweetzer and Melrose in WeHo. This is Bourgeoise Vegan Food. Omfgyum.
Read moreI'm ashamed how many times I've been here since they opened a decade ago, at least a dozen. It gives veganism a bad name. An indulgent recreational ostentatious conspicuous waste of money for culinary entertainment. An average of $50 per meal is pennies compared to what meat-flakes drop in their made for mother[removed]s murder joints, but still, I think vegan, I think equality and equal access to fresh, healthy food. This ain't that.
What they do, they do very, very well instead. Imagine a version of any fine dining American style fake Italian restaurant like Dantana's, only plant-based and packed full of vegans.
The food isn't spicy, isn't particularly loaded with fresh or raw veggies or exceedingly inventive or generous and definitely encourages a three to five course experience with lot's of booze, and it's not for povos like me, yet expect no shame when ordering tap water because the servers and staff are all quite lovely and beautofu. Everything we ate was delicious. It's a fun time.
And I will sin again.
Pros: Factually vegan, Fun fine dining experience, Friendly service
Cons: Sold my soul for a deep fried roll

Overpriced for what you get in terms of quality and service - Edit
This was our third time here and we had a terrible experience. Everything has gone downhill the last couple of years. This used to be such an amazing place.
Read moreWe started with the seafood tower which is such an innovative idea. The tower came out Luke warm to cold and 3/4 of the items were deep fried making it an overly heavy dish.
We also ordered a bottle of wine. Our server brought us the wrong bottle but he had already opened it by the time we noticed. He poured us the tasting for the wine but never poured our glasses. We also never got asked about water refills.
I’m addition to the seafood tower we ordered pasta dishes. I got the truffle pasta and my husband got the scallop pasta. When my pasta dish came out it was swimming in oil. It was so bad I said something to the waiter when he asked. I couldn’t taste the truffles because the oil was so overpowering but the waiter told me it was like that so the truffles could shine and left without offering any kind of solution. So I was stuck with the oily pasta. My husband could see my disappointment so he swapped his dish with me. His dish - the scallop pasta - had absolutely no sauce or flavor. The pasta itself was good on each dish (you can tell it’s freshly made) but the sauces were huge disappointments.
Server didn’t stop by after I mentioned the oily pasta which meant out plates sat there forever and we never got those waters we were hoping for. Terrible service and quality for the price. Never going back.

Wonderful Fancy Dinner - Edit
Lived up to the hype! Delicious and so creative - and we loved the opportunity to have a formal dining experience for an entirely vegan meal. Made our reservation earlier in the day for a 7pm table.
Read moreHaving never been before, we didn't quite know how much food to order (the wait staff suggests 2-3 items per person because served "family style"). Glad they let us order in stages: We started with the Caesar Salad and the Figs & Feta and a couple drinks. Then put an order in for Spicy Rigatoni (was not spicy), the Pumpkin Seed Tofu Marsala (ahhhhmazing), and Truffle Potatoes (perfect with the tofu marsala) - with another round of drinks. Meal was EXTRAORDINARY and plenty of food for the two of us. The bill came to ~$198 after tip. Worth. Every. Penny. for this delicious experience.
Pros: Excellent food, Staff was helpful, Fancy vibe
Cons: Be ready, it's spendy

Fantastic food - Edit
I wasn’t sure if I would like this place, due to the hype it seems to receive. I was pleasantly surprised, however. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and I’ve never had vegan chicken that was so moist and succulent. It lived up to the hype. The waffles were light and airy, and didn’t fall victim to the heavy standard that seems to be the norm. I’m glad I came.

Brunch was amazing! The bloody mary and blackberry mimosa were exquisite. The benedict came with potatoes and fruit. Hands down one of the best beneficts I’ve ever had. The chickn and waffles were really good. The chicken was light and crunchy, so much better than normal seitan chickens. Definitely need to come for dinner!
