Tiny gelateria in Jewish quarter - Edit
I tried the salty peanut flavour, which was vegan, and I liked it very much. The fruit sorbets are also quite interesting, and are made with seasonal fruit (pear, apple and cinnamon). All the flavours are kosher.

I don’t think it’s vegan - Edit
Gelato here is NOT labeled vegan, and I can’t read Italian but I think there was egg in the sorbeto ingredients. It looked weird so I asked if it was vegan and he shrugged his shoulders and said there wasn’t any milk. It also looked freezer burned. I passed but my bf got strawberry and vanilla. The vanilla was orange colored and tasted bad (Like eggy French vanilla). There are so many other places with better looking and labeled vegan gelatos. Also the the gelatos were labeled- milk free- not soy nor vegan. Yuck.

OK ice cream bad service - Edit
Very small portion for the price. There were big selection of milk free ice creams but not much flavor. The service was not good considering the lady was rude.

Best gelato - Edit
They had a bench inside!! Completely authentic- you can tell because the banana flavor is greyish and not yellow! I got apples and cinnamon, dark chocolate, and banana. Phenomenal. Bit expensive though. You're allowed to try 1 flavor before buying.

Overpriced and tasteless - Edit
I had the €5 tub of pistachio and hazelnut. The pistachio did not taste of anything. The hazelnut was okay. The portion however was small. I've had better tasting gelato for less money in Rome. I would not return given there is tastier and cheaper vegan gelato elsewhere in Rome.

delicious! - Edit
I had this place on my list of places to visit but hadn't planned on visiting it the day I found it! Cute little shop in the Jewish Ghetto. There was a good selection of vegan ice creams, about 8 or so. I got pistachio, hazelnut and vanilla. Absolutely delicious and well priced. I think I got the 5€ cup and it was plenty! Service was good as well! :-)

Don't miss this! - Edit
We were walking around the Jewish Ghetto and found this gelato shop with a "no milk" sign out front, so we headed in. Turned out they do serve vegan gelato either made with non-dairy milk or just water. We had the dark chocolate, the pistachio, and the mixed berry flavors. They were all really good. Highly recommended!
