Beware of non vegan contamination - Edit
Beware - this delivery service advertises itself as vegan but I sadly found a peek of the tiny orange fish roe at the bottom of my avocado making which is very disappointing. Therefore I believe the sushi is made in the same place as non vegan products and that there is not enough cross contamination protection happening here! Before I discovered this I found the sushi good as the mock salmon provided more variety on a sushi menu that normally would only ever have avo or cucumber maki.

I used to eat sushi a lot before finally going vegan, and sometimes still get cravings for it. This place manages to do that. Fairly quick delivery to home, the flavours seem pretty realistic and fresh. I was impressed!

Delicious "chicken" katsu curry - Edit
Naively stumbled into this place only to find out they don't have readymade vegan sushi in the fridge but only veggie boxes (containing omlette nigiri). You can probably order avocado sushi etc. for staff to make, but then I discovered the vegan poke bowl, vegan chicken teriyaki and vegan chicken katsu on their menu. Opted for the last and honestly I loved it so much, reminded me of proper Japanese curry (kinda like coco ichbanya, even with the pickles). The portion was very filling, the curry sauce was so flavoursome and warming, and the "chicken" was amazing, very aromatic (yes, it kinda smelled like real chicken, but I think they use Quorn here) and super crispy. Assuming the curry sauce was really vegan I can wholeheartedly recommend their chicken katsu.

I went to the location of this place thinking it was an actual restaurant that I could pick up food from. I could not find any restaurant called Crazy Vegan Sushi at the address, the only place is You Me Sushi which is a normal non-vegan sushi takeaway shop that does not look vegan in any way. It’s clearly a con, and I’m quite suspicious about the “vegan fish” actually being vegan.

This place is part of the trend of non-vegan places deceptively listing a separate full vegan business on delivery services. It tricks us into thinking this is a vegan business when it's not. This is just You Me Sushi offering some vegan items, which aren't very good, and it's really unclear what they're made of (as it's not listed anywhere...).
Read moreUsually I make sure I only order delivery from vegan only places, as I don't want contamination or mistakes leading to me receiving non-vegan food that would need to be thrown away. But I got tricked here and regretted it.
The food is not very good, I have no idea what the vegan fish is made of (or even if it's really vegan) and it doesn't really taste like anything.
The packaging is non-recyclable plastic, but that's unsurprising coming from a place that sells fish, as they clearly don't care about destroying the oceans.

Blown away by this place. Really really food! Proper tasty options rather than a blim of cucumber wrapped in rice. I don’t know how they make the ‘tuna’ and ‘salmon’, but they have an interesting texture and we thought it was tasty. As with real sushi, things can get a bit pricey.

Wow. I’m very impressed. I have a very high bar set for vegan sushi from the best in the world; Shojin in Los Angeles, so I was pretty blown away by this crazy vegan sushi! I agree with all the other reviews that the mock Tuna and Salmon is pretty mind blowing in terms of texture & taste but not overly fishy! The dragon roll is phenomenal and the chicken nuggets with sweet chili sauce for the kids were a bonus! Definitely a must try when in London.

However, the fake salmon and tuna sushi are a bit much for me, they look just like the real deal and the texture doesn't work for me. BUT, this is coming from someone who has never had real salmon or tuna in their entire life and from my understanding the texture and taste are very similar to real sushi and tuna. That said, those missing seafood might love this offering.

Ordered on Uber Eats and super impressed. I’ve been vegan for three years and I’ve never had mock raw fish this realistic in texture! Not much of a fishy taste beyond what you’d get from Nori, which suited me just fine. Excited to try some of the hot options next time!!

A vegan sushi lovers dream! We ordered last Friday evening on deliveroo and yum so fresh and tasty! Every bite was incredible. We ate a variety of rolls, I loved the time taken to ensure that presentation of the food was on point. Try the Dragon Roll its amazing!!
