A vegetarian café, shop, exhibition, and community meeting space run by Props, a charity with a vision of a future where everyone who has a disability can do purposeful and rewarding work and contribute to their community. The menu includes jacket potato with various fillings and always has one vegan cake. Cafe transforms into a bar and is open Thursday to Saturday evenings Open Wed-Sat 09:00-16:00, Thu-Sat 16:30-22:00. Closed Sun-Tue.

Lovely cafe with purpose - Edit
Came in for lunch and we're pleasantly surprised to find that they'd hosen to make the whole menu vegetarian, with lots of vegan choices or the ability to be made vegan. They don't shout about this loudly enough!
Read moreWe had a couple of toasties, which arrived quickly. The cakes looked amazing but we were in a rush so will have to come back.
We've also been in on an evening, when the cafe becomes a bar, run by Tapestry brewery. Really good vibes and they've started running events (quiz nights etc).
It's great to have this on the high street, especially knowing that it supports a well-deserving charity. Many of the people working in the cafe are being supported by the charity to learn life and work skills.
Make sure you also check out the items for sale on the shop. I bought some brilliant make up pads, made by the people being supported by the charity, as well as their calendar.

Lovely jackets in a cute cafe - Edit
Delicious jacket potatoes with 4 different fillings such as massaman curry. Need to say vegan so it can come with vegan butter and cheese. Always 1 vegan cake on offer too.
