Great food, Lots of options - Edit
This was my first time in. There was so much on the menu that I wanted to try but I was dining Ali e and couldn’t justify buying more than an entree but boy was it good! I ended up choosing the Carne Asada tacos based on my server’s recommendation. They were awesome! I get a similar dish every vegan place I go and have always liked it but this was the first one where the “meat” was something other than mushrooms (they used soy protein). It was delicious! It only came with 2 tacos but honestly, I could barely finish the 2nd one because it was so filling. I’d highly recommend this place and will be for sure back to try more!

I enjoyed my focaccia sandwich. It was very tasty though a bit pricey for sandwich. I liked that it had lots of outdoor seating and mellow jazz music. Staff was nice too.

One of Northern CA's best vegan restaurants, if not THE best - Edit
Cozy Plum Bistro is our "go to" place in Santa Rosa. We have yet to try anything here that isn't amazing. Real innovators—they are always updating the menu and trying out new things. Quite a variety of menu items, from comfort food like burgers, tater tots and mac & cheese to salads and healthy grain bowls. Our favorites include the Carne Asada burrito and the Savory Farro bowl. Don't forget to try the incredible Crispy Tenders. We're looking forward to Cozy Plum bringing back their pizza, because it was the best in Sonoma County, hands-down. Next door to the Community Market, this location is vegan ground zero in Santa Rosa. Freeway close if you're coming from out of town.

Too Saucy - Edit
Got takeaway for a Saturday evening. Their line was busy for quite a bit and the online ordering wasn’t available. After a few more tries, they finally picked up and food was done in 25 minutes.
Read moreI tried the taco ensalada which had good reviews and I was hoping for some veggies but it was quite saucy and really more beans and iceberg lettuce than much else. The Far East Philly evoked memories of some Chinese dish that I can’t quite put my finger on but again I think it was a bit too heavily sauced.
Not sure I’d try them again unless I was hungry and in the area and wanted something fast.

Delicious food! - Edit
Super cute outdoor area with umbrellas. And the food was excellent. The hubby ordered BBQ drumsticks (amazing!) and a BBQ Bacon Burger (which he loved). I ordered a crispy chicken salad bowl; it was very tasty and refreshing. I probably wouldn’t order the apple galette again though. Definitely come to this place!

So Fresh! - Edit
Absolutely delicious bowl with some added tofu tenders for extra protein. A little on the pricey side but it’s wine country and a vegan restaurant, so what should I expect? I’ll be back when I’m town to try something else from their extensive menu.

Amazing Bowls - Edit
We ordered three bowls. The Taco Ensalada, the Acocado Farro and the Avocado Quinoa. All were delicious but from my POV the Taco Ensalada was the best. If you are sensitive to spicy flavors would recommend asking for the sauce on the side.

Amazing Carne Asada! - Edit
Their Carne Asada burrito was delicious! Best vegan version I have ever had. I couldn't eat the burrito because it had corn, so they put it in a bowl for me.

100% vegan - Edit
I was very happy with my visit to Cozy Plum bistro. They have an astonishing number of items on the menu everything that I’ve tried so far was wonderful. They offer items that I probably couldn’t make for myself and I haven’t seen in restaurants that aren’t 100% vegan. Great selection. Great taste. A little pricey but worth it!

OH MY GOSH - Edit
okay, vegan or not, CHECK. IT. OUT. cozy plum bistro is the cutest little place ever (i love the string lights!) they have such a fun menu, and every single thing is vegan!!! i went for my birthday and got the moroccan wrap, which was incredible, and a man sitting near the counter overheard me and my friend talking about my birthday and got me a free cupcake. it was the manager!!! and guess what, that vegan cupcake was LITERALLY the best cupcake i have ever had in my entire life, coming from a person who doesn’t even like cake! i could not recommend this place more… i think i’m gonna go apply to work there right now!😂

Not only is everything is fresh and delicious But the menu is quite large and varied. We call ahead and our food is ready to be picked up at the time requested. They also have specials daily which makes it even better. This food is so good even non-vegans will love it.

Everything is Good - Edit
Came here with two others twice over a brief stay in the area. We got several dishes each time and they were all pretty good. My favorites were the mac n cheese (which is unusual for me), the nachos, and the far East Philly cheesesteak. Honorable mention goes to the trumpet pesto pizza.

I had the Butternut Squash Bowl and it was amazing. The plating was beautiful and it tasted fantastic. A perfect blend of veggies and seeds. The pickled jalapeno added a saltiness that was well paired with the dressing and butternut squash.

Vegan comfort food at its finest - Edit
I both love and hate dining at vegan restaurants for the exact same reason - so many options. Cozy Plum Bistro was a perfect example of too many options that we spent a solid 15 minutes trying to decide. As I happened to read the review on Yelp, I went with the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and it did not disappoint. I have never had vegan bacon before, and I have despised pork bacon since I was a child, but now I will be craving it and searching it out. The cheese was delicious and not that weird vegan cheese that doesn't melt or doesn't solidify once it melts
Read moreWe also ordered the Loaded Tots and I had to convince myself the "taco meat" was actually vegan. It was superb (and now I'm craving it again).
The staff was very friendly and the whole restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and I felt covid-safe.
I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live, but I will definitely stop by when I'm up in the area again.
P.S. Missing one star because it's pricy to eat here, but worth it for a once in a while treat.
