I can't help but notice in the reviews here that it is repeatedly touted as the "best vegan place in Santa Rosa/Sonoma county"...it is the ONLY vegan place in Santa Rosa and one of two vegan places in Sonoma county. If you haven't been to any, or not very many vegan places it would sure seem great.

But as a vegan for more than a decade and someone who has been to vegan restaurants all over the country and the world. I am here to say, it's terrible.

WHY IS THE MENU SO INCONSISTENT?!? Does it contain gluten *shrug* soy *shrug* nuts? who knows?

Most seasoned vegan places have a kind of designation for allergy listing i.e. SF for SF or GF for gluten-free CN for contains nuts etc. Not with them, some items say "soy" in the description which might lead you to believe that if it doesn't say soy it doesn't have soy, but you would be wrong. It should be clearly marked for all allergies because it is 2021 and lots of people go to vegan places because of allergy concerns.

Further, the last time I got food to go I had a ten-minute conversation with the person taking the order about picking out GF items but guess what. I got home and my meal was in a gluten wrap. I called to tell them and I was told "oh I'm sorry, you can just....take it out of the wrap" (if you have a gluten allergy you should know this is not an option and THEY should have known too). Further, they seemed barely embarrassed and only refunded the incorrect item. (Most dignified places would offer a gift card, or free item on the next visit or refund more than just the incorrect item. really basic customer service practice)



In conclusion. If you have never left the north bay in your whole life, have at it. If you know what good vegan food is....make your own at home.
