Amazing coffee - Edit
This just became one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. The tamago toast is fantastic and the cold brew (dark roast) coffee is exceptional. The service is also great, even by Japanese standards. Also, nice ambiance.

Great vegan breakfast - Edit
This cafe was everything for us during our stay in Kyoto! The coffee was good (oat milk!) and they have a tamago toast (toast with vegan egg) which was just delicious. The egg-Alternative is selfmade and outstanding! They also have bananabred, cookies and scones - all vegan! If you stay for a second coffee it will cost less than the first. The staff is just SO nice and friendly!! Would totally recommend!

Super nice - Edit
The food was very delicious! The egg toast was great, especially if you like the taste of egg. I hadn't been able to see rhe texture of the tofu, I probably would have thought it was real egg.
Read moreThe lemon muffin and banana bread was also very good. They both had quite a mild taste.
And their apple juice was very nice too
Pros: Great taste, Right next to Kyoto station
Cons: A bit pricy, but the taste makes up for it, Only have 3 food items

Loved the tamago toast! - Edit
Coyote is a great coffee shop with a limited (but fully) vegan menu. The items that they do have are delicious! The tamago toast was incredible and filling, and our banana bread was moist and perfectly paired with beautiful lattes. The space is very cute and the location is great if you're just rolling in to Kyoto station or passing time waiting for a train. Wish we had found this place sooner on our Kyoto trip!

Lovely people and delicious coffee - Edit
We were looking up coffee and didn’t realize this shop was vegan until we arrived. We had a tamago toast and some coffee and both were outstanding. The egg is made of tofu and kabocha squash and was very eggy with the addition of kala namak salt. The barista was extremely friendly as well! They also serve oat milk.

Cute vibes and drinks - Edit
Coyote really only has coffees and a couple of other options. We went at 11am and they had sold out of the savoury toast (with vegan egg?). So we just had a couple drinks and a muffin. It's a nice stop near the JR station while you are waiting for your train.

Egg toast is a must! - Edit
I normally don’t like things to taste TOO much like the real thing (if you know what I mean) but this egg toast is spot on and just enough of the real taste to be delicious. It’s a must get if it’s available. The coffee was super good😄a little pricey but a nice spot to hang out for a bit!

Delicious! - Edit
Visited multiple times while staying in Kyoto! The staff were so welcoming. The coffee was great, and the food was delicious! There were only 3 options on the menu - scrambled tofu, banana bread, and a different flavour muffin each day - but all of them were so yummy. They even had take away cookies
