Wonderful market - Edit
From the vast selections of item to the lovely staff, this store has it all.
Read moreIn addition to the regular food items one would hope to find at a well stocked store, this gem also offers a coffee / smoothie bar along with a small clothing boutique.
The prepared salads are we had were delish.
In an area lacking with plant based options, this is one beacon of light for vegans.
Pros: Great selection of plant based options, Vegan salads

Plenty selection - Edit
Decided to check this place out to stock the Airbnb with vegan eats. Came out with one of the pesto pizzas and a few vegan breakfast sandwiches. The pizza was delicious and I wish I would have depleted their stock. The breakfast sandwich was cool but had a flavor that I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of.
Read moreAll in all, this place has tons of options to choose from. I noticed many mock meat options, pre-made sandwiches, and frozen goods. Check this place out if in the area.

Awesome find on the road!! - Edit
We weren’t expecting much from grocery stores while traveling on the northern Olympic peninsula, so we were thrilled to find this one. We were looking for a quick lunch and were absolutely blown away by the store and deli. They are a high end store, no doubt, and have all the best vegan food, healthcare and household products. The organic local produce is bursting with flavor - the figs were phenomenal!!
Read moreThe woman in the deli didn’t blink an eye when I asked for something hot and vegan and said the hot veggie sandwich could be made vegan. She double checked that the bread was dairy free and vegan. She also carefully noted the vegan cheese and specific bread on the ticket as well as clearly verbally explained to the person making the sandwich what to use and why. As a dairy allergic household I was especially impressed with the care they took making our food.
The cold deli case also had a great selection of vegan cold salads. We had the Vegan Dill Potato Salad, the Power Greens Salad, and the Mandarin Noodle Salad. Holy cow, it was all incredibly delicious!!
Port Angeles has a real gem in Country Aire Natural Foods!
Pros: Vegan friendly deli staff, Great selection
Cons: Higher end so kinda pricey

Great market for all things! - Edit
This market was exactly what I was hoping for in stopping in Port Angeles for some basic beverage and snacks. Nondairy milk and water, bubbly seltzer, coffee, tea, a cafe with juice, premade food that is vegan and gluten free - checks all around!
Read moreWhat I wasn't expecting is that there would be so many choices. That meant I spent a lot longer in here than if it were some run of the mill regular food store. When you walk in, you're greeted with a cornucopia of fresh, local, organic produce just screaming for you to buy all of it! It looked fresh and healthy and beautiful. It was hard to walk away from this department, but then I saw bulk bins and a vegan cooler section with vegan dairy and dip alternatives. So cool!
They have other things too, like a chocolate and candy section, a snack section, anything really that you're looking for is here. They have some local focus too, in the section near the registers, so you can specifically by some jams and mustards that were made locally. Looked delicious, but my hands could only carry so much, and my baggage back home would be bursting if I added anything else.
So, just got enough for the road and the snacks. There was so much, I would be very happy as someone living here to know I could get all the food and beverage items needed to stay healthy, fit and happy. Chocolate - that's important, and they had a great selection.
Pros: Vegan cooler, Produce section, Vegan pre-made food items in cafe area

Wonderful! - Edit
Anyone who is searching for healthier choices in food and everyday items that are good for you and the planet, and/or does not eat meat or creatures of any kind, will find this place a shopping MUST! Everything is Organic! So much produce options and all of the produce is kept very healthy and fresh. The majority of items are grated towards non-meat eaters. They have Jackfruit! (The best of you want a barbecued “pulled pork” sandwich substitute!) They have a cafe with many different foods and drinks, a deliciously large vegetarian sandwich! They have organic and non-GMO garden plants and herbs to purchase as well for your own home garden! My favorite place!

Huge store full of good things - Edit
Every trip to Port Angeles, I try to make time for shopping here before the ferry home to Victoria. It's a spacious store with sections for fresh produce (not applicable for Canadians returning home), body care and household products, canned/packaged, chilled and frozen food, deli, clothing, snacks and more. There's a good bulk section for refillable containers of kombucha, oils, Bragg aminos, molasses, agave, tamari, vinegars and many dry goods. Also available are beer, wine, cider and liquor, including organic brands.

Great find in Port Angeles - Edit
My partner and I visited Port Angeles this weekend and were happy to find this store. It reminded me of a hybrid of a small Whole Foods and a large food co-op. The deli had some nice looking food, including an orzo artichoke salad that was vegan, so I had some. It was very good. They carry lots of organic fruit and vegetables, most of which seemed pretty pricey to me, but I'm used to my Olympia food co-op that has low prices. Seeing as there aren't a bunch of options in that area of the state, it's a great place to find organic produce and frozen vegan goods that you won't find anywhere else in town. There was a nice bulk foods section and overall they seemed to carry most products that I'd like to buy if I lived there and wasn't just passing through.
Read moreAlso, it made me happy to know that area can support such a store. It says a lot to me about the community of Port Angeles.
Pros: variety, vegan deli items, bulk section
Cons: prices
