Fabulous selection - Edit
Finally managed to get to a Coughlans, and left £40 lighter in the wallet! So much to choose from, we picked up lemon yum yums, danish pastries, shortbread, cheese and onion pasties, sausage rolls and coffees to enjoy for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Everything was really good, and there's definitely more I'd like to try. The standout was probably the lemon yum yum which I enjoyed for breakfast in the park opposite - a sweet, lemony gooey middle with a yum yum batter. Definitely needed a drink to wash it down! Hope this chain expands further into Kent some time!

I love Coughlans! - Edit
I've been to many branches of Coughlans and they never disappoint! As with the other branches I've been to this one had a selection of hot savoury vegan pastries and toasties, and a large range of sweet pastries all of which are vegan!
Read moreMe and my wife shared a Mushroom Roll, Vegan Sausage Roll, Cheesy Bean Turnover and a Fudge Doughnut. The Cheesy Bean Turnover was my favourite of the savoury options this time. It had a lovely flaky pastry and delicious flavour. The mushroom and sausage rolls were also really good. I was also very impressed with the Fudge Doughnut which to me tasted exactly like a Krispy Kreme (and I love Krispy Kreme!)
Pros: Sweet pastries are all vegan, Great range of savoury vegan pastries, Delicious
Cons: Not fully vegan (if they were I'd give them 5*)

Awesome bakers - Edit
We love Coughlans, live up the road to this one and visit fairly regularly. Always adding more vegan options each time we visit as well as offering the classics. The Christmas toasty is the best thing ever, I wish it was offered all year round!!

Such a great bakery. Wide selection of sweets and savouries. Food was delicious. Even a non vegan who visited with me loved it.

The best bakery ever - Edit
Coughlan’s is pretty much the reason I’m a fat vegan. Their range is incredible - from the naughty but very, very tasty cheese and onion pasties, to the almost too realistic sausage rolls, and cakes and sweet treats (strawberry muffins and Oreo cupcakes are a favourite). The shops are 97% vegan and with one in pretty much every surrounding town I’m always tempted when passing through Oxted, Lingfield or Godstone to pop in to Coughlans. In fact, I even go to a play group in Godstone (just behind the bakery) with my toddler for a pick-me up vegan toastie when sleep depravation gets too much.

Incredible bakery!!! - Edit
This bakery has to be the best I’ve ever been to! (And I live in Switzerland!) It’s 97% vegan and everything I tried tasted amazing. Everything is clearly labelled vegan. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who is even vaguely nearby!
