Not the best impression - Edit
I arrived 75 minutes before closing time and was told I would have to wait 40 minutes for food. since ai had no other options I said OK. Asked what I can have now and ordered a wrap. While the wrap was being prepared I chose my food. When I ordered, some 70 minutes from closing, I was told they will not take my order because it was too late. The service needs improvement.

The ‘small plates’ are actually very decent sizes. Food was great, we got the lemon pasta, fried chicken & tteokbokki, which came with some dumplings. All very good and the atmosphere was so calm and cosy. Girl serving us was also really kind. The cats that hang out are a bonus

At first "Cosmo Grocery Kitchen" is a bit confusing. It is cat themed, but when I visited they only had a dog. The place is a vegan restaurant, but they also sell items (hence the name "grocery"). There's a flower shop inside, as well as a wine bar where one can enjoy music on a hifi system.
Read moreThe menu has good variation as well, with hot and cold dishes, meals and snacks. I tried the "Crispy tofu tender wrap" and it was okay. Nothing special, but a decent wrap at a decent price. Since Cosmo Grocery Kitchen in the only vegan place in the area, I was happy with my lunch.

Very tasty vegan burgers & dumplings - Edit
Found this place through Google in Seongsu. The place is a cute cafe which is cat friendly. We tried vegan plant burger and mushroom burger, and veg dumplings. All three were very good.

This is lovely little cafe, love the concept, it's designed beautifully. Wine, snacks, coffee, flowers, cats, groceries. It's a vibe and I like it. They had very cute cats living their best life out in the garden and in their little greenhouse. We tried the dumplings, tempeh wrap and tofu rice. I would say the food is average but serves its purpose as something to eat while you enjoy your their space with coffee/wine (& cats). That being said, the tempeh wrap was really good and I'd be happy to try more of the menu if I was in the area.

我點泡菜炸G飯，調味真的很棒！吃起來軟嫩有泡菜辣味，與台版的素鹹酥G的扎實口感不同，很推薦！
冰箱也有微波食品可以選購帶回飯店當隔日的早餐唷！

We went as a group and got to try almost every food they sell. Everything was basic but tasty! It was also good to know they have vegan wine and a few other imported food items that I haven't seen elsewhere in Korea. Having super cute cats in the back corner is a definitely a plus ;)

the cats are so sweet!! the menu booklet features a bio of each cat that lives in/visits the cafe, and you can scan a qr code to watch a video of how they came to be there.
Read morethe food is great, i got the tteokbokki at my 2 visits because i’m an addict, and it was delish each time. i loved the small rice cakes.
im pretty sure they sell bouquets, and there are flowers at each table, and an upstairs cubby type area that the cats use, which i had cute holes in the wall that they poke their head out of.
the girl that takes the orders was really sweet and friendly too 😊

The best by far is the little angry poodle, just crazy cute. Full of cats as well. Menu is small but what we tried was tasty. Seems to be package food however well curated. Not much grocers to buy, mostly wine.

The cats freely roam around and are very calm/friendly. I brought my dog too since this place is also dog friendly. It is a small cozy place with about 5 tables inside. During Christmas they had a big Christmas tree in the middle of the room which was a nice touch. They also offered mulled wine which I have not seen in other vegan places. Unfortunately the mulled wine she gave me was just lukewarm and not really hot enough. Menu is all vegan but not that much to choose from. What they do have and what I tried has been tasty. Highlight was the Cucumber bread, the tofu spread on it was delicious. The Rice with Chicken is okay but not my favorite I ever had.
Read moreAs for the staff (which other Reviewers criticized), I do get why some people are saying that they are unfriendly. She appears to keep to herself/shy. I was not greeted when coming in and no good bye when I left. But personally, I don't find her unfriendly, just keeping to her self for the most part. You come in and seat yourself and take the menu yourself. You go to the counter to order. While ordering, the staff was friendly. And when she served my food she was friendly too.

This place is quaint and cosy. We loved everything we had (sandwiches and mushroom "chicken rice" and sangtu cookies, Americano and grapefruit tea). They also sell flowers and one vegan cheese, wine and more)

Unexpectedly one of our favourite places we went to in Seoul. We were in the area and largely swayed to visit by the cats (note - this thankfully isn’t a ‘cat cafe’ as such, just a place where they kindly look after a family of cats who come and go), but the food really stood out. Especially the mushroom rice dish, which was a great lunch. Really cool vibe to the place, with a lovely selection of deli items too. Also, surprised to read other reviews about the staff as they were absolutely lovely when we visited. Highly recommend.

The staff didn't really acknowledge us when we walked in, had to look for menu on our own. Our drinks were amazing- iced chocolate and watermelon juice. We also had sourdough bread with cream cheese and cucumber on top, that was okay.

The first time I went i tried their tteokbokki. I was not a fan. But I gave it another try and i can definitely say it became one of my favorite places in all of seoul! Their sandwiches are all so great, and even now I can’t stop dreaming about eating their “chicken” burger one last time 😭
