Great as always! - Edit
I've been to this location and another a few times before. This time I tried the vegan oggie and it was tasty and filling! My hands down favorite so far though is the vegan Cubano. Love their clearly labeled menu and large list of vegan options! Great place to eat with omnivores.

Amazing vegan options on the menu! …when available. - Edit
My most recent trip to Cornish Pasty we didn’t find out until after they brought us drinks and gave us 10 minutes to look at the menu that they only had 4 available options for the day out of their entire menu… so we had to scramble to look again and make other choices. They did have 1 vegan pasty available, which was good. The restaurant was also unfortunately full of bugs including the biggest flies I’ve ever seen! Not the best meal I’ve had, and I’ve had much better from them years ago in the past. Probably won’t visit this location again.

All vegan pasties out of stock - Edit
I arrived on a Friday night for dinner, waited outside in the heat for 30 minutes to be seated since they only take reservations for parties of 8 or more. When my party was finally seated inside, I asked about two vegan dishes, but was told after my second choice that ALL vegan options we're out of stock. Apparently they make everything in batches so there wasn't even a chef who could whip up a vegan dish from a vegetarian one. Don't waste your time. Would have been nice if they posted outside that their entire vegan section on the menu was not available or to at least tell us their entire vegan section wasn't available before we waited 30 minutes outside in the heat.

Vegan pot pies but can’t customize it - Edit
I like how they had vegan options but I don’t like onions and mushrooms and I couldn’t take those out as they are pre made

decent - Edit
i’ve gone here twice wanting a veg pot pie and they’ve been out each time… last time i ended up just getting mashed potatoes with vegan chz on top and a side their vegan rosemary gravy that was really good. potatoes made w butter (didn’t mind) and this time i resorted to the guinness stew pasty that i couldnt stand because it had vegan cheese in it which i thought would be on top bu the way it was worded. i did an online order to make a note to take it off. i didn’t know everything was premade in the morning so you cant make substitutions on pastys. i also got the “chips” with garlic that were really good, just baked fries, more soggy than crispy though so make sure you’re ok with that. decent experience: they didnt put the fries in my togo bag so i had to come back for them but they took it off my bill. i called and told them when i got home 15ish mins later and they asked if i wanted the ones that were ready (they were meant to give to me) or if i wanted them remade which i thought was strange because i had told them i just got home, why would i want fries that were sitting there for 30 mins? idk staff was kind so not too bad. just upset they’ve been out of the pot pie every time i’ve came so i’m not sure if i’ll be back

Great comforting food - Edit
The vegan pasties are phenomenal. The vegan Guinness stew is definitely one to try, it has a very tasty mock meat with a ton of veggies in flavorful gravy. The vegan oggie is also a classic to try when you get the chance.

They are currently serving 4 vegan pasties on the menu PLUS 2 rotating specials. Vegan Cubano is always sold out:( but I had a vegan Oggie and it was great. I also loved how all the guys working there were super friendly and helpful.

Super fun spot - Edit
When we came here they were out of a lot of items. We ended up with the baked fries for an app and Pasta salad add vegan chick’n and the Vegan Oggie for our meals. All were really delicious. I was sad we didn’t get to try some items as they were out, but we will definitely be back to try them at another time.

New vegan options!! - Edit
They have recently added new and DELICIOUS vegan options and have plans to add more! We had the vegan Guinness stew pasty, with chive tahini dipping sauce, and it was so good- large enough for my husband and I to split for lunch.

Love their patsies. Wish they had a consistent vegan menu instead of varying on day and more vegan sauces. I loved their mushroom and cheese patsy (their take on a vegan philly cheese steak).

Vegan pasties 🤗 - Edit
Cornish is so delicious! They always have at least 2 (usually more) vegan pasty options. Every flavor I've had has been amazing. They also have a great selection of beers.

Cho’s pumpkin pasty - Edit
I am a fairly new vegan eater. I struggle with the daily vegan menu in my own home as is consists of fruit and veg. I havent gotten how to cook vegan yet. That said, i came to phx with the intention of trying vegan restaurants. We got in fairly late and i didnt want to order cheap delivery or anything. I used google woman to search for options. Thats when i found this place! It was within walking distance of my hotel and they had different vegan options daily! I ordered “the greek” pasty, and it was amazing! Service was great and the wait staff knew exactly how to accommodate a new vegan and even offered personal favorites to help me choose. This was a great spot to grab late night vegan food. Did i mention its also a three story bar?! Biggest thing for me is that its a late night option...great food.

Cornish pasty offers an atmosphere perfect for grungy punk rock kids like myself, but call ahead and make sure they have vegan pasties made ahead. in az, they tend to be stingy with the vegan options.

I've been there often - Edit
It's kind of our go-to place in my family. The only thing is, although they have many options for vegetarian pasties, they only have 1 option for vegan. The pasties are made ahead of time so you can't go in and sit down and order anything but what the one choice they have for a vegan pasty, which is usually the mediterranean one, which is good, but I wish they had more choices. I usually go to the one in Scottsdale as the one in Gilbert has more of the bar atmosphere and louder.

Good Find in Mesa - Edit
I was staying in Mesa for awhile and found Cornish Pasty Co on Happy Cow and decided to give them a try. I ordered takeout as the restaurant was full (on a Wednesday evening) - the 'good times' atmosphere within was palpable.
Read moreI tried a couple of different pasties and a desert one as well. They were very tasty and very filling. I found the price to be more than fair.
The best part is their flexible menu with many of their pasties which can be vegan-ized upon request. The menu is very straightforward about this which is much appreciated.
Look to make a reservation and don't hesitate to check this place out. I'd say it's pretty unique, the food is good and they show that they care about vegetarians and vegans.
Pros: Flexible menu, Good food
Cons: Can be crowded, loud

Love it! - Edit
Love the Pasty Co, and was so happy when they opened the second location a few years ago. Expect the staff to be pierced, tattooed, and give excellent service. Music can be loud on a weekend night, but loud 80s metal or whatever is on that day is hardly a bad thing. Roughly half of their pasties are available in a vegetarian/vegan form (they use Quorn as a sub). Highly recommend the traditional favorite Cottage Pie, the Mexican, and the dessert pasties! Plus, Strongbow on tap. Both Mesa and Tempe deliver, which is highly dangerous if you live in their delivery zone. :) Expect a long wait on a Friday or Saturday night for a table though.
