Happy Meal

Honestly reading the reviews on HC, I was a bit skeptical about going here with friends. The five of us were happy with what was served.
Started with the crispy cauliflower and the Brussels sprouts. (NOTE: Make sure you state you want the vegan option.) Both we’re good starters and met our needs.
My husband and I went with the vegan pizza and our friends ordered the vegan Farmers Market Salad and the Luau Salad. I had some of the Luau Salad, which was tasty.
Our friend Christi wanted to sample the Vegan Bao, which was served as two small bite sized servings that were nicely flavored and I would recommend them.
Not 100% vegan and not “fantastic” but the food and service were good enough for me to go back.

Pros: Had vegan options , Bite sized options to share

Cons: Location was…meh, Limited vegan options

Could be so much better

Hands down, the cauliflower was the best thing we tried. If you get the Brussel sprouts, mix it with the cauliflower, it’s a great combo. The pizza was ok, the “tofu cheese” was seriously lacking. The Thai lettuce cups were ok, not revolutionary by any means. We got stuck eating in the cooking class space next door to the actual restaurant. The service was painfully slow, the ambiance was lacking and overall we weren’t impressed. They also had BUG ZAPPERS inside the space- right next to our table. We couldn’t figure out what the zapping sound was at first, but once we did realize, we couldn’t get out of there faster. Honestly not impressed....

Appreciation post

Cork and Fork is a more upscale gastropub with posh dishes. I appreciated their separate menu that had a small, but nice array of options that complemented the flare of the food there. I didn’t have qualms with my dish so that’s plus!

Pros: Tastefully handcrafted vegan dishes

Cons: Pricey

Great choice for a group of mixed diets

Was on a roadtrip with 5 omnis so getting food that everyone liked was always a challenge. This place worked well for all of us! The vegan menu is small but at least you get some choice. I really liked the crispy cauliflower; the pizza was really basic but decent. Didn't have the sorbet but it's there if you fancy a vegan dessert. Also nice cocktails/other booze if you're not the driver.

Check out the bathroom for some wine related funnies :)

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Drink choices, Wine related jokes :D

Cons: Not many vegan choices esp dessert, Pizza is very basic

It was alright

They have 5 things on vegan menu. The only decent thing was the crispy cauliflower they put way to many olives on the tacos and the pizza had horrible smelling tofu cheese,

Delicious!

Who'd have thought a gastropub would have a separate, entirely vegan menu, in the middle of the desert no less! We ordered the pizza (one of, if not THE best crust I've ever had) complete with truffled tofu cheese (not Daiya, something lighter) and a delicious chili oil they bring out with it (smoky not spicy). We also got the Vegan Farmers Market Salad, which was very filling with a nice creamy dressing and a ton of different veggies, fruit and nuts for a varied texture compilation, a nice surprise compared to the sparse vegan salad fare at most similar restaurants. Paired with a nice Chardonnay, this was a very satisfying meal overall and I will certainly be back if I get stuck in the area again!

Pros: Full vegan menu, Ambience, Wine list

Cons: Price, Limited vegan dessert options
